They cancelled his contract as soon as he admitted guilt at the start of the trial, he knew he'd get sacked if he told them he was going to do that, so he milked a few more weeks/months wages out of them before the trial started.

Sunderland did everything fairly and quickly when they found out the truth imo, no stain on them.
In the trial he said that he told Sunderland what happened and they have copies of all the messages that he sent as well as the police interviews http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/...for-allowing-adam-johnson-to-continue-playing

It is looking like they knew everything but cleared him anyway.

Andrej Kramaric scored the winner for Hoffenheim against Wolfsburg. Great goal aswell, he got put through at an angle cut in beat his man and curled it top corner

His talent is there for all to see. He just need to stop chipping all his ****ing shots for us

If he had a bit of pace about him he'd still be here and he'd be starting.

He's a perfectly good top tier striker. Just needs to play in a side that suits him.

... agreed ... but another mark of how far we've come that we can comfortably afford to send a £9m player out on loan <laugh>

Don't think he will be coming back seeing as we went after the likes of Musa.

If he doesn't would he be considered our worst ever buy or does that honour still go to Akinbiyi?

Kramaric is a very good footballer ... I think that answers the question <laugh> ... I suspect we will get our money back if we sell him on ......

This is a great article - starts off about those guys that put a bet on Leicester at 5000-1 nervously watching the Newcastle game and ends with asking Pugguy about being a porn star and eating pies <laugh>.

Mercury: "Hello Pegguy – nice to see you here."

Pegguy (in a brilliant Allo, Allo-like voice): "Aw, it is so great to be back. I don't think I've been here since 2001.

"Fifteen years. I've just seen Walshy and Marshy and Matt Elliott. Jon Rudkin. He's the football director now isn't he? Amazing. It's still a great club…"

Mercury: "Yes, yes, that's all great – but is it true that you are now starring in porn movies, Pegguy?"

Long pause.

*Quizzical Pegguy Arphexad face*.

Pegguy: "Who says this?"

LM: "I don't know. It's just a rumour. I've heard it a few times."

Pegguy: "Look, this is a bad rumour. It's been going round a long time. One English guy wrote on the internet years and years ago that I was doing this and now people say to me: 'Hey, are you making porn films?'

"I haven't made ANY porn films, okay. I don't do that. I work for a sports insurance company. That's what I do. Put it in your paper – I don't do porn films, just insurance, okay?"

Right you are.

Pegguy: "Thanks."

And then he goes to fetch a small pie.

That's not a porn euphemism. He just likes pie.

I also find it hilarious that the rumours all started with Mussy's autobiography due to the quote below <laugh>.
In Muzzy Izzet's biography (Muzzy – My Story, still widely available from all good book stores) the former midfielder said although the former Leicester stopper wasn't the most competitive of players there was one contest he always won: who was the longest in the showers.

"When Pegguy went for a pee, he didn't shake it, he kicked it," said Muzzy. "The joke in the dressing room was that he used to feed it mice.
