Glad to hear Pearson getting this in early on. They'll be lots of talk now about pushing on - but that doesn't necessarily mean spending silly money. Building a squad is the answer, which is exactly how he's operated since he first came to the club. Too many clubs have attempt to buy success (QPR, Portsmouth, Leeds etc) and ended up in trouble. As he states, we COULD spend big money - we do have it - but it doesn't guarantee success and sometimes brings disaster. The sensible approach is the right approach.

Relegation will be harder this year then any other year IMO. There really isnt long between the end of this season and the start of next so the turnaround in squad and cutting the cloth accordingly will prove really difficult.
I think Burnley will adjust the easiest as they have kept the finances and squad sensible and have knew about relegation for weeks
QPR and possibly Newcastle will have a very very difficult job in building a team while Hull will have it tough replacing the players they will lose

, i'd say that Hull will lose less than QPR, both could lose quality at either end of the pitch for me.Phillips and Austin for QPR and Chester and Dawson for Hull.
Its different for Hull to QPR though. Hull needs to keep hold of players and just freshen up on a few positions while QPR need to get rid of nearly everyone but will find it hard finding buyersYou should be called Mystic Fox

Dont know about you guys, but the Dramas game seemed ages ago, and another 10 weeks to go before more decent footie. Will have to put up with the FA Cup Final and a couple of JV England appearances. Bit like eating haggis instead of steak, and I dont like haggis.
This has been the first football season in ages after which I feel pretty down that's it finished. Last season we had the World Cup and previous years I've just wanted to forget football for a few months! This one has left me hungry for more - Getting used to only 38 games again hasn't help either!

I haven't got time for Radio Leicester anymore. Stringer and Bourne have made their coverage unlistenable, like the football journalist equivalent of Heat magazine. Thank God another season in the Prem means I can see all the matches I can't get to online.
