Barring Schmeichel and Nugent, the pundits didn't mention a single on of our players, they just focused on how difficult it is for the promoted clubs. Why not just mash us, QPR and Burnley all together? I know we're not going to be the neutrals' favourite club, but you'd think as we're a pretty new entity in the PL that you'd want to give people a bit more information.

Southampton have just splashed out £12 million on Shane Long ... which for me makes £8 million for Ulloa seem like an absolute steal <laugh> ... only time will tell of course but I have this mental image of Steve Bruce rubbing his hands together - a £5 million profit on a player who has never exactly set the EPL alight? and who they only bought at the end of lase season ... or am I being a tad harsh?

... Steve Bruce apparently (and not really surprisingly) is after Danny Wellbeck ... a £5 million striker who will go for £15 m when you add the £10 million mark-up generally applicable to British players - particularly when transferred intra-EPL <laugh>

Southampton have been left in a situation where they desperately need players, but have s**t lots of money - which everyone knows about. They're going to get fleeced which ever way they turn, although in fairness, many of the players they sold were massively overpriced anyway.

Ive just been over to the championship, just to have a quick look, & there´s a thread asking what the table will look like at the end of the season.
Anyway, I said Trees will win it btw. Before I left (the champ´ship) I just had a qiuck look to see how busy it was & there are alot of teams that ain´t had a post since the 24th of July even though there lge is 2 weeks in. Made me say "****ing ell"
