Just because he's scored 5 in 5. Marvin Emnes had a similar record at the start of last season and he was ****e at the end of the season.


Overall CMS has a 1 in 4 strike rate at this level. Even with Gallagher.
 
CMS is very poor at this level. Much prefer someone like Vardy

CMS is proven crap at this level while Vardy looks promising
 
I haven't seen any of his performances, so it is early to judge, but I expect him to have a better season this year. Last season he had to adjust to this league.

My original point was that I would rather have CMS than Beckford. I rather have Emnes too. But if I had all of them and the current squad, I would probably still go with Vardy and Nugent.
 
There is a few rumours around that Nigel is looking at signing Robbie Brady on loan from Man U for the season. He had him on loan at Hull last season

If you do sign him there might as well be no other players on the pitch, he never passes and he can't cross. Or shoot for that matter.

He was in your first 11 last season, what does that say about him? He's clearly talented, he just needs to hone his skills.
 
What a 2nd half that was. Joe Hart outstanding, he will be disappointed with Ronaldo's goal but Kompany should have dealt with it. Yaya Toure class act.
 
Nicky Maynard has picked up another serious knee injury. Good job we didn't pay 7M for him

If only we got Jelavic instead of Beckford hey
 
I really feel for the lad actually. When we wanted him for a fee rising to £9m as it turned out i thought, as long as we got to the top flight, he would be an england striker as there is many of the 'small pacey' strikers apart from defoe atm. Real shame for the lad.
