Thank goodness that painful episode is over. Compensation to be sorted next financial year makes sense but with pre-season starting in a couple of days things now need to move swiftly. You would hope the powers that be haven't been sitting twiddling thumbs and an appointment will be confirmed shortly. Mixed feelings about Dyche, knows how to get out of the division but a bit one dimensional in my opinion. Rohl seems to be the other favorite, but I quite fancy Carrick, but I also don't pay the wages. I do hope Andy King has a future at the club for sentimental reasons, but you know he will put his heart and soul into it.
Also not impressed with how we've handled this - dragged it out until now ...
So, we now have Manager certainty, but it's that we are certain that we don't have one.

You hope they've not just been twiddling their thumbs @nzfoxfan but realistically, how high are your expectations that it's true. Mine are rock bottom.
How we have become this much of a shambles is astonishing and embarrassing.
This bit is probably most annoying and anger inducing. After so many years of being rubbish on and off the pitch, where we didn't have a lot post O'Neil to be proud of. After 2009/10 we had a good structure and plan. We planned ahead. Then with all the success from 2015 / 2016 and onwards. I had actual pride in my club again. For all of that to be thrown away makes me very cross.
Some are calling for Andy King to get the job. Doesn't look likely with the photo in the Daily Mail showing him away on holiday with Vardy, Maddison and Maguire.
Are they still away? I saw a picture a few days ago of them away.
Who's in charge of pre season, they're back today?
Edit: DM article was published on the 29th and spoke of their holiday 'this past week'.

Enjoying seeing the training videos especially with so many young ones involved. I have to say, Ben Nelson looks a beast. Big and quick, we need to hang on to him rather than cash in
Given his loan at Oxford gave him Championship experience, I'd really expect him to be starting or at least a regular in the matchday squads ... ironically (given how **** our centre backs were last season) without having to spend a penny, in Nelson and Souttar (if he fully recovers) we have two centre-backs who starred for their on loan respective Champiinship teams last season ...
Our first team coach / goal keeping coach Rouwelaar has also left.

Finally.. Now 4 weeks to whip the squad into something resembling promotion hopefuls. Hope the first task is find out who wants out and then get rid of them. Unless they are from the academy in which case he has to persuade them to stay.
