Thank goodness that painful episode is over. Compensation to be sorted next financial year makes sense but with pre-season starting in a couple of days things now need to move swiftly. You would hope the powers that be haven't been sitting twiddling thumbs and an appointment will be confirmed shortly. Mixed feelings about Dyche, knows how to get out of the division but a bit one dimensional in my opinion. Rohl seems to be the other favorite, but I quite fancy Carrick, but I also don't pay the wages. I do hope Andy King has a future at the club for sentimental reasons, but you know he will put his heart and soul into it.
So, we now have Manager certainty, but it's that we are certain that we don't have one. Technically progress.... You hope they've not just been twiddling their thumbs @nzfoxfan but realistically, how high are your expectations that it's true. Mine are rock bottom. How we have become this much of a shambles is astonishing and embarrassing. This bit is probably most annoying and anger inducing. After so many years of being rubbish on and off the pitch, where we didn't have a lot post O'Neil to be proud of. After 2009/10 we had a good structure and plan. We planned ahead. Then with all the success from 2015 / 2016 and onwards. I had actual pride in my club again. For all of that to be thrown away makes me very cross.
Some are calling for Andy King to get the job. Doesn't look likely with the photo in the Daily Mail showing him away on holiday with Vardy, Maddison and Maguire.
