Is Evans back on Sunday? Hopefully the cup counted as one of his 3 match ban. I did read somewhere though, that he is injured!! If not, Evans for Ndidi I can live with.
Yes Evans will be back, straight swap so more a problem in the even of any further injury/suspension

It did. He missed both the NI games, one for personal reasons and one as a precaution.
I'll be very glad when he's back, provides calmness and guidance defensively.

How was Amartey yesterday? He made it through the game and Rodgers had nice things to say about him. He can play as a CB...

So the decimated squad turn attention to its......Jamie cards & co this afternoon
If we play for 90 mins like the first half v Wolves it should be a comfy win
Anything like the second half v Wolves and Mendy will be undergoing counselling

Leicester’s main threat is through Harvey Barnes and Steptoe with balls over the top, just what Stones & Mendy in particular are at their ballwatching best.

I’d prefer us to play 3 at the back with wing back Mendy covered by Ake,actually I’d rather Mendy play for someone else but that’s life and we don’t have the players available to realistically play a 3

Ederson
Walker, Stones, Ake, Mendy
Rodri, Fernandinho
Mahrez , De Bruyne,Foden
Sterling

Subs: Steffen,Harwood-Bellis, Garcia, Doyle, Palmer, Torres, Delap

We've changed quite a bit ... 7 goals in the first 2 games and none really from balls over the top ... Barnes will run at you from wherever he receives the ball ... and Tielemans, Praet and Mendy are very neat and tidy in possession ... full backs also bomb forward at every opportunity and have both scored this campaign ...

Maddison will probably start on the bench again.

Vardy loves playing against Stones <laugh>

Everyone loves playing against Stones

The Leicester City goal machine is purring along nicely. Three in the first game, four in the second and now five in the third. We look dangerous every time we attack. And the 2 goals from open play were breathtakingly good. This result and quality of the performance will take a few hours to really sink in.

Brilliant performance from the manager too. The game plan was executed to perfection. Castagne has been a real find and gets better every game. Just hope the injuries to Evans and Praet aren't serious.

Evans had ice on his calf so maybe not a return of the thigh injury. Those two goals from open play were just things of beauty and i can only imagine how much the press would have been salivating if they had been scored by Liverpool or Utd. Kudos to Rodgers for coming up with a great game plan.

What a game though! I’ll be honest I thought we were in for an embarrassing evening in the first 20 as we were just in our shell but then wow. Castagne looks a top signing, will Ricardo get his place back :bandit:
It will be intriguing to see Under in action too. Still worrying about lack of depth and injuries but it seems our targets (Fofana/Tark) want to come to us and the start we have made will have other targets wanting to be here so we need to get them over the line.

After going 1 down very early on, I feared we would just crumble. I was saying during the first half that our midfield had moves 5 yards further up the pitch and that Vardy was far too deep. What do I know?!

Brenda got the tactics absolutely spot on and the players stuck to the game plan and put in a first class professional performance.

Still can’t believe the score line and I’m just hoping the injuries we got today aren’t as bad as first thought.

Didn't see that coming today. I thought we were too deep and initially feared the worst. However, after the first 25 we started moving out and pressing. I hoped we would equalise as their defence was shaky. Not conceding a second was vital.

Absolutely spot on tactics and everyone performing brilliantly. That Vardy finish for the second and Madders goal <applause>

Injuries were concerning but Evans has a calf issue, nothing to worry about apparently and Vardy had an issue with his hip.

We've never won our first 3 top flight games before, that was a great way to break that record.

Needs to be said ... Papy Mendy currently is undroppable ... the turn between 2 players to feed Barnes which led to the first pen is exactly the calm quality we lacked in the run-in last season ... amazing reinvention and key in what we have done so far this season <cheers>

Apparenty Evans and Vardy aren’t too bad but Praet could be serious. Would be a shame because out of nowhere he’s arguably been our main driving force behind our opening form..!

True ... but Tielemans looked back to his best yesterday and with Madders comng back we at least have the depth now to manage such occurrences ... hopefully just a minor twist and nowt that a week's rest can't put right ... <cheers>
