Well, that went much worse than I anticipated and my expectations were low.

I genuinely can't see us getting any more points.

    Shambolic, verging on embarrassing...

Jonny Evans has to be rushed back and Mendy has to play as the defensive cover for the back 4 ...

Maddison and Tielemans together are too lightweight and not up for a physical battle or defensive duties ...

Tielemans is a luxury player. If we’re dominating a game he’s ok, if it’s a battle then forget him. He has no physical presence or speed, he just wanders around waiting for a Hollywood moment.

So true. I dont ever remember feeling this bad about football. There seems no chance of us pulling off a result like Everton just did. half the team have checked out already. Some of the blame lies with Rodgers but just as much with Top and Rudkin Im afraid. really took their eye off the ball.

You watch Forest and Everton and you can see them fighting for their survival. We showed absolutely NOTHING!!!!!!

I can't see us getting another point this season.

3 away goals, a penalty miss and still lose the game....not that we deserved anything from it.

    For me, we are down!

We should get to see some of our promising players next season. Opoku, Nelson, Wormleighton, Brunt, Braybrooke, Madivadua among others. At least they’ll show some passion, I’d sooner watch people giving 100% rather than ‘stars’ going through the motions.
As much as he was derided, I never had anything against Akinbiyi all those years ago. He gave everything when he was playing, admittedly he was out of his depth, but he had the fire in his belly. If our players now had this trait we’d be safely in mid table.

Gotta admit that I am now just about resigned to us going down ... it's not about ability, there is plenty of that in the squad, which will be more evident when some of them have secured the moves that they have already been exploring / negotiating ...

It's about effort, desire, energy, commitment, personal pride and, most of all, respect for the club and its' supporters; things that the Forest and Everton players impressively displayed last time up... and all of which were palpably lacking from our shower at Fulham ...

Now I'd be absolutely buzzing if they prove me wrong against Liverpool... but my expectations are that we will again see some of them going through the motions, strolling around during the game rather than really getting stuck in - then standing around with their heads in their hands in forlorn faux devastation at the final whistle whilst secretly thinking "... just 2 more before a bumper payday move" ...

Unfortunately, the divide between the commitment and passion of the fans and that of pampered, privileged, egotistical sporting mercenaries is nowhere more apparent than at our club right now ...

Quite frankly, I can't wait to see certain individuals moved on now ...we need fresh, ambitious blood seeking opportunities to make a name for themselves ... much like, Kante, Mahrez, Maddison, Fofana etc were when they first came in ... but any not wanting to be here and give their everything for the club, should right royally **** off!

    Rant over <grr>

    <laugh>

Can't disagree with a word of that. Unfortunately.

Let's hope Dean Smith et al have finally seen through those 'pretend' players and can field a team of genuine triers.

Absolutely agree, but not holding my breath. He's been treated appallingly and disrespectfully since he's been here.

Please, please, please just put some effort in tonight. Chase those lose balls, win the 2nd ball and score more than them lol

I still think there is another twist to be have before this season is done.

I just want to go in to the West Ham game with a chance of staying up.

The midfield looks pedestrian again tonight, plus Evans coming straight back in. Hope I’m proven wrong but that midfield will get overrun. Maddison on the right when he needs to be behind the striker, square pegs and round holes and all that.
My inner pessimist shouts louder than the optimist, tonight’s no different.

    Predictable ... pathetic

Where the **** were Soyuncu and Dewsbury-Hall?

Smith is a complete bellend ...

Sooner we are put out of our misery the better ... get rid of the non-committed and the piss takers ASAP ... and bring in players with real heart and desire to play for the shirt
