Agreed. Although I do like Shelvey. Think he'll be a top player in the future but not yet. They definitely over-paid for not a great amount of talent. Before they would rely on Gerrard and Torres, and £100 million later, they're relying on Gerrard and Suarez.
 
Poor Spearing was way out of his depth today.
 
Difference between when they used to rely on Gerrard and Torres compared to now is Gerrard is always injured now and not the same player he was then. He is still class now buy still not the same.

And Torres back in his Liverpool days was miles better then Suarez
 
I feel sorry for James McCarthy from Wigan. He had to turn down the call up to the squad because his Dad has just been diagnosed with cancer

At least its not as bad as when Newcastle was in the championship. They was on Tele most weeks and then the commentator and pundits was all over them. I remember when we played them at St. James. Nile Ranger was pretty **** that game but the commentator was so far up his arse making him sound like a world beater
