These are global businesses. Whatever reasons they have for basing their operations in the City of London it certainly isn't because of the size of the UK market.

I just think it's a deliberately misleading point. There might be a positive Brexit effect in a year or two, though I doubt it.
Yes I voted Out based on the limited info at the time of what Out meant. I didn't vote for Cameron to not be bothered to deal with the fallout or for May to plough down a hard Brexit route to placate bona fide morons and xenophobes, risking the economy in the process.
