All I asked is for something to show what a claim was based on. As that wasn't found, I can only assume it was baseless. Likewise, you claim he's a racist, but offer nothing in support, it'd need to be specific to the post in question. Given your earlier poor aim, I'm sure you'll understand if I don't take your word as gospel.

.

It's been spelt out a dozen times, you've merely chosen to ignore it.

Which was very telling Searg.

Carney has done a fantastic job of mitigating and clearing up the mess left by ****tards, like Rees-Moggy, Gove, Fox, Davis et al..
He is the voice of sanity amongst the bullshitters who are only in it for personal advancement.

Teresa May should be popping round to his place on a daily basis to gobble him off in appreciation of the work he's done to minimise the damage caused by her posturing and dithering.

While the EU leaders make her sweat like a fat man in a garage, Carney keeps the economy stable!

This is journalism at it's finest and simpletons like Kustard and Fat Pete will swallow every word (in Pete's case, he swallows everything in site, preferably with ketchup on it).

It's nonsense! Banks dismiss gloom-laden claim they'll quit the UK after Brexit

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...miss-gloom-laden-claim-ll-quit-UK-Brexit.html

It quotes the head of the BBA stating that banks will leave a Brexiting Britain. His name is Anthony Browne. We know that because he offers direct quotes. As head of the BBA he is tapped into the banks.

It then goes on to quote a "source" who works for Santander (we don't find out his name, maybe it's Dull) and a number of Tory MPs as well as Farage who dismiss the suggestion that banks will exit the UK.

Conclusion: clearly nonsense!

The auld farts will be reading that over their toast this morning and proclaiming everything is fine, Nige said so.

Gov say corporation tax could drop to a low 10% to get business to move to the UK. thats lower than Ireland

Good news as we can then **** off the money grabbing banks
Your income tax will have to go up to cover the difference.

Lowering corporation tax is the kind of thing developing nations do to attract investment. I thought your plan was to restore the Empire, not become a bit part player in world business and politics?!

Great and the cost of that halving of corporate tax to the economy?

You think it's a great thing that we're now that desperate to attract anyone in business to these shores that we're going to halve the £40BN net treasury income from corporation tax?

Isn't that a loss of £20BN?

How much are we 'saving' by leaving the EU again?

£350m a week which is all going straight to the NHS. Fact.

Or not.

We got our country back.

Same country we had before, but poorer.

Reactions: Peter Saxton
I'm not going to pretend for a second that Kustard was getting at this but lowering taxes can increase tax paid in some instances if it encourages companies to re-locate and discourages evasion/avoidance. Halving the tax rate comes across as a panicking sledgehammer to crack a massive nut, however.

Possibly will make Pete's dodgy bookkeeping easier though.

It's the musings of a desperate Govt, contemplating the effects of tariffs on our existing manufacturing base and the likelihood of them ****ing off over to the mainland when faced with the prospect.

Just a quick reminder of the potential cost to the country of the banks leaving post the hard Brexit that Ress-Moggy and his fellow simpletons think is such a great idea....

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/oct/11/hard-brexit-treasury-66bn-eu-single-market

Oh aye, of course the banks have never suggested such things before brexit have they. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Given the amount of industry the EU encouraged out of the UK, they're perhaps hoping for a similar hand out.

It wasn't the banks suggesting it....

It was the treasury.....

Of course Rees Mogg and Davis called them unpatriotic for having the temerity to stand by their forecasts.

Rule Britannia
