That's not the point I'm making, Kustard. In the early 1970's a crazy Ugandan dictator, called Idi Amin, kicked all the Asians out of Uganda. They were given short notice to leave, mostly with nothing more than the clothes they were wearing.

The UK took most of these people in. Gave them refuge and a new life. One of those immigrants is now allegedly Britain's richest man.

For those people, if indeed some of them are, to now try and deny other desperate people the haven they were given, is shameful.

I see where you are coming from <ok>

They're doing the exact opposite of that.

Nice try Sarge. I stand by that claim that they ultimately decided the result. I did not say that everyone who voted Leave was a xenophobe, merely that 80% of them saw multiculturalism and immigration as a force for ill, and 6 m voted leave with immigration as their prime reason.

Wriggle away stumpy, wriggle away.

Hopefully you'll start to think before making up boxes and labels and trying to drop people into them to match your bigotry and prejudice.

Answering a question as seeing it as a force for ill doesn't automatically make them a xenophobe. Trevor Phillips believes that too. :emoticon-0105-wink:

What I'm getting at is that most people concerned about immigration are not so much concerned with Europeans coming to,the U.K. Most believe that what will happen is that all the Syrian, Libyan, and other African refugees that Merkel and others have allowed into Europe, will be the ones coming to the U.K.

I'm not wriggling away from anything you bone head.

As I completely stand by the assertion that xenophobes and little Englanders ultimately delivered Brexit.

I didn't say that ALL of the 80% were xenophobes though Wooden Top.

Some may think that, I'm not sure about the percentages. The people in the article don't think that, and neither does anyone I know. People wanting to come here and positively contribute will be welcome, no matter where in the world they're from, rather than the lucky 7%.

It looks like little Englanders and xenophobes need adding to the growing list of 'labels' you hide behind but don't really seem to understand stumpy.

I think the people in that article care very little for anybody but themselves and their families.

Because outside of the EU, our borders are opened up to the other 97% of the world outside the EU.
Our borders have never been closed to the rest of the World and most of our immigrants hail from outside the EU.

The restrictions on immigration aren't going to become any less for non EU residents post Brexit.

May as Home Secretary set the goal for immigration to be in the 10's of thousands during this parliament.

So there'll be much less immigrants from beyond the EU under this Govt.

Another section of the populous sold on a lie it seems

It seems to be you that's bought a lie or two stumpy. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Only unlike you, I don't 'hide' from anything Sarge.

I've clearly said what my view is and used stats to help back it up. I could give you reams of anecdotal evidence for my opinion as well.

Bogus knobheads like you don't like the labels as they're too close to the truth

You've failed to back up the claim stumpy, you've just trotted out bigoted rhetoric as you SJW's do. . :emoticon-0105-wink:

Care to take issue with the content of that post or just deflect away again?

It's self explanatory stumpy. It's not achievable. The result will be a less divisive and discriminatory border policy.
