You shouldn't be afraid at all to voice your true opinions. But if you support other users racist and/or bigoted posts don't be surprised if people call you out on that association.

He IS afraid to voice his true opinions that's why he hides behind liking others. To answer his question, it's simple... because deep down, he knows it's wrong <ok>

can I please have some more abuse from the "USUAL SUSPECTS".Its what I enjoy most about this site, and it keeps me posting.

Has anyone abused you? Looks more like people are calling a spade a spade (poor choice of words possibly :cheesy:).

If you condone bigotry, people will be inclined to think you're a bigot, especially if it happens regularly.

The irony <laugh>

You asked a question and not one poster who responded said anything that could be construed as abuse. They were simply holding a mirror up to your shortcomings.

In fact the only one hurling abuse is you. At me, now. Keep it comin

Looks like the cat is out of the bag

Perhaps we can stick to the discussion rather than spending more effort trying to close another thread down

John Redwood's assertion that brexit means 'taking back control' is a dumb myth anyway. Far from taking back control, the govt will contract out the trade negotiations to big accountancy firms like KPMG, Deloitte, PricewatershouseCoppers and Ernst & Young, because they simply do not have the resources to do it within the civil service. It's the exact opposite of 'taking back control', we're about to farm out out decision making process to private financial companies.

The Guardian goes into it in a bit more depth. It sounds like a kind of semi- Brexit. We stay in the single market and are granted a temporary brake on immigration in return.

We would still have to make a substantial contribution to the EU budget. We would also lose our seat at the table when major decisions on EU policy are made.

Sounds like a heavy price just to limit immigration from the EU.

It's a rubbish deal, but as I mentioned on the other thread it has a lot going for it politically. Scotland can claim to still be in Europe, the Ireland border can remain largely unchanged, eu trade remains unaffected and immigration can be said to be controlled. The seven years suggested will allow time to rebuild the trade agreements we had when part of the EU and build new ones independent of the EU. It might even give time to negotiate a new deal with Europe whilst in the EEA (that's what the politicians will say).

Agreed. It sucks, on the face of it.

If it happens I guess we'll be conceding that what Brexit was all about was immigration all along. When immigration from the EU never seemed to be the main problem, anyway.

He did the same with StanDMan on our board. He said numbnuts was smart to say Mourinho would go on to be more successful at United than Fergie. When asked whether it was smart to agree with a poster who only last season was calling for Mourinho to be sacked, poor old armchairblue ran out of excuses.

It's such a stupid stance, it's like me agreeing to everything UIR posted ffs <doh>

I had forgotten about UIR, these two Europe threads would have been a hoot <laugh>:headbang:<yikes><wah>
