Indeed. If you're worried about the lack of churches, go to church. I'm sure you'll be very welcome.

Btw, what towns are being taken over? I live in London and I'm much more worried about Haringey being taken over by wealthy yuppie types pushing up house prices and driving out the locals. Still, I suppose that won't happen now we've voted Fuxit.

More mosques than churches. More of you Christians should go to church more often than just weddings and funerals. Your churches wouldn't fall into disuse and be turned into flats. Perhaps the UK is no longer a Christian country as it does not seem to follow Christian principles of tolerance and compassion but instead fosters hatred and division.

So your prejudice is rich yuppy types driving out the locals<laugh>....... people in other parts of london have more important
things to worry about.

Thats a sad post.

The government in recent times has been more devisive on class, age and race than any government in my lifetime.
The loss of social housing, forceful movement of poor out of the cities, destruction of local government services and cutting the civil service to the bone. Policies that force poor people into debt without choice while supporting those still wealthy enough to buy homes. Increasing pensioner salaries by the highest rate available and protecting them from benefits cuts.
The in it together claim of tory austerity was always a lie because ultimately our politicians are self serving. They are the tax avoiders, the expense fiddlers and rip off private landlords.
We have allowed ourselves to be sucked into the argument that poor people are stupid and it sickens me.
The free schools that encourage segregation of our children on religious grounds are a massive mistake and only enforce a lack of integration that fuels racial hate. The blaming of immigration for the woes of the health service instead of facing up to the simple fact that we are struggling to support our aging population is disgraceful.
I'm sick of the lot of them.

<applause><applause>....

Another day another attack in Europe from the cancer known as Islam.

The free movement madness needs to end.

Oh, and it will.

The trouble with jumping to conclusions based on nothing but your own bias Is that you can end up looking like a bigoted cock. German police are currently saying it was a gun crime (like columbine in the usa) and nothing to do with terrorism.

Like what? Where to find a church that's open on the Kings Road?
You won't be moving from Haringay to kings road unless you've won the lottery<laugh>........
Best thing i ever done was move out of london and if i was younger i'd leave the ****in country.

I'd have to win the lottery twice to move back to Marylebone.

It just got a bit harder to leave the country btw. My retirement plan to Spain just got ****ed up by Brexit.

Ahh, so you think its sad that we are no longer a Christian country?

I say that as imo weve been a secular country for decades.
Baby's are still chritened... maybe islam will be the dominant religion here?....
Is that right?..... By the way i'm not a racist or a bigot.

I never said that Islam was the dominant religion or that there were no Christians. Just that more people are aethist or agnostic, or even lapsed Christians/Catholics/Muslims/Hindus/Jews ect than actually practice religion. I mean you admitted yourself that you are a Christian who doesnt go to church. We dont have Christian laws in this country, we allow freedom to practice any (or no religion), allow equal LGBT rights for example.

The decline in churches in this country is down to the decline in people wanting to be devout Christians, little to do with anything else. As somebody else said on this thread it's supply and demand

Only my opinion,i think most christians are decent tolerant people,me included.
Mind you i've never been a church goer<laugh>

I hope you don't take this as a dig but I find your views confusing.
You liked a post which describes Islam as a cancer because some Muslims have committed terrorism yet describe most Christians as being tolerant even though we have had a long history of violence committed by Christians in this country, in Europe, the USA and Africa and Asia.
Before 9/11 the biggest terrorist incidents in America involved right wing Christian militia. In the 1960s and 70s the terrorist issue in the uk was solely Christian based with Ireland.

Around the world gay people have been persecuted as have Jewish people as have those with HIV. Abortion clinics have been bombed and people in them shot...all by christians.
Horrible ****s with horrible ideas will use anything to justify their poisonous hate. Look at the Yorkshire ripper...he claimed his christian God ordered him to slaughter all those women.
I think it would be ****ty to use these things to label Christianity as a cancer (implying that christians are a problem) but you liked a post that does this to Islam.

I like some of your posts so am not seeking to slagging you off...just trying get to understand
