My post seems to have been eaten in all the page moves/merging.

For those hoping the tie will be moved to a bigger ground, we may be disappointed. Lokeren have built a new stand taking capacity to 12,000, but still 4,000 standing. However apparently the ground now complies for Europa League and they have already played their first game in it.
 
For those who are contemplating driving down to Dover/Folkstone bear in mind to add at least an extra hour on to your journey to take into account the delays at the Dartford crossing.

It appears that category 4 is only required for the group stages onwards. Category 3 only needs 4,500 seats so it will probably be at Lokeren's stadium.
 
Lokeren stadium still has terracing so will not be fit for use. Last year they switched to Brussels (50K capacity) so tickets shouldn't be an issue
 
I was looking to go by train from London but my wife was suggesting plane but I dont like the messing about to and from airports.
I might see if I can persuade my wife to take me (I dont drive) by car.
I'm not going to book anything unless it's 100% certain. If you go by Eurostar you can pay extra for flexibility. Cheapest ticket I saw was 62 euros but you can get a meal and flexibility for 180 euros.
Maybe stay somewhere local overnight and come back next day. It would be nice to make a short break of it until Sunday but we're going on holiday on Monday! AS well as snowed under with work!
 
Ryanair are raising the prices constantly, i cant book anything unless they change to a larger stadium as i dont have a season pass.
Lets hope they get through this round and get to group stages.

Ferry from Dover to Dunkirk is generally cheaper, but there are more Dover to Calais ferries running. Hotels and match tickets may be harder to get.
 
Some cheap flights from Manchester to Brussels (Charleroi) with Ryanair now, longer journey on the other side but saves you travelling down to London.
 
P&O ferry website playing up not showing return on Friday 22nd. Rang them up and got booked from Weds return Friday give them a call if you want these sailings.

"KSC (Sporting) Lokeren OV yesterday revealed what the new goal stand will look like. Lokeren won the Belgian Cup Final and in order to be able to play Europa League games in their stadium the club will build this new stand (2900-3000 seats), put new seats with backrests in the club colours in the existing stands and build an additional, small uncovered stand with a capacity of 500 for fans of the visiting club (next to the main stand, which is shorter than the field). All this will take capacity up from 8,500 to 12,000 (roughly 4,000 standing)."

So it might be 500? What's the UEFA reg re away fans % for Europa ties?
 
Away teams only need be allocated 5% of capacity. So 600 tickets is our minimum if the ground can currently seat 12k
 
Sadly too many people already have the time off work for me to book.

Not being a season ticket holder I would not have expected a ticket but would have gone along for the piss-up anyway and then gone back to the hotel to listen to Radio Humberside.

Eurostar seemed the most cost-effective way to go from London, which was £116 at cheapest which was to any train station in Belgium.

Fingers crossed we get to the group stage.
