The "meh" refers to whether he stays or leaves.
I do not view Alli as being our key player.
Do I want him to leave? Of course not. I'd like to see him stay, buckle down, and give us some more of what he gave us last season.
Do I think he will leave?
No, I don't. Not for at least a couple more seasons, at least.
After that, it depends on where Spurs are with winning the title. If we remain close, we might be able to encourage to stay longer, and if we aren't, he'll probably be angling for a move to PSG, Barca or Real, which Levy will sanction for a king's ransom, and we will continue to rebuild.
Alli leaving Spurs will not weaken Spurs.
