WHY ARE WE STILL BATTING?

I'm listening to the (Kevan James et al) commentary on the Hampshire Cricket live feed, and they are speculating that Hampshire will declare very soon, to put Warwickshire in for about 10 overs today, then all of tomorrow. The lead is currently 470, which is probably beyond any attempt by Warwickshire to win the game. So things will either get exciting, with Hampshire setting a very attacking field, or very dull, with Warwickshire just tapping every ball away for a succession of low-scoring overs, and ultimately an early hand-shake on a draw.

I see England could be knocked out of the T20 World Cup without a ball being bowled.
The weather forecast for Guyana is for heavy showers throughout the day and there isn’t a back up day if play doesn’t get underway, just an additional 250 minutes. So, if the game gets rained off, India go straight through, because they won their Super 8 Group.
Apparently there IS a second day for the Afghanistan v South Africa game though, which makes a mockery of the rules.
What a crock of ****.

Louis Kimber is currently 191 not out off 92 balls as Leics chase 464 against Sussex. He came in at 144-6 and it's now 375-7. Remarkable innings.

Incredibly frustrating, isn't it. Moreso because my mum is coming up on Saturday afternoon to watch the cricket with us, and if we're not in the final that means I'll have to talk to her.
