And now 4 wickets in 5 balls. Apparently, it won't count as a four-wicket maiden, as Jordan only bowled five balls, before USA were all out.
If we really smash this chase, we could yet finish 1st. And doing that would very likely mean avoiding India in the SFs.
We've done our job. Over to WI and SA to see if either of them can take top spot from us. If our SF is against India, we'll be the second SF (start time 4.30pm UK time). Otherwise we'll be the first SF (start time 1.30am UK time). Feels a bit odd to have qualified for the SF having beaten just WI, plus minnows, but hey ho.
Looked dodgy when we had one game v Scotland rained off and then another game reduced by even more rain. Good to get through to semis after that start.
Crane and Weatherley picked up as wildcards for the 100, and Currie as an injury replacement. Which I think means Wood and Wheal have both missed out this year (subject to being called up as an injury replacement), and hence could play 50 over cricket for us. Off the top of my head, I'm not sure that Wood has played anything longer than a t20 since the 2019 50-over final.
