That looked a very good shout
And then that one looked stone dead.
30 and 38 that Joe could have been out on.

Gubbins has been terrible this season.
Really? He must have got all his runs in April/May then because I can't remember when he last made a decent score. He was our highest run scorer of the season until about an hour ago (Organ is now five ahead).
He got a hundred in both innings to keep us in the game against Lancs at home in the early part of the season but I'd have to look up the scorecards to see what he's got since then.Really? He must have got all his runs in April/May then because I can't remember when he last made a decent score.
Only 273 to win, we will get them in singles...
He's done nothing since then in the CC. No 50's at all.He got a hundred in both innings to keep us in the game against Lancs at home in the early part of the season but I'd have to look up the scorecards to see what he's got since then.

Fair point.Second highest run-scorer (after Felix). Second highest average (after Brown). Most balls faced. Most boundaries hit. Joint highest number of 100s (with Felix).
Don't get me wrong, an average under 40 is nothing to shout about. But that literally applies to everyone except Brown. Our batting has been way below our bowling.
I think our title hopes too have gone. Still they've given it a fair crack this season and as others have indicated, a more reliable batting lineup for next year, could be another good season.Donald gone.
And in the space of five minutes, Yorks might well be getting the favour from Gloucs.
From a potential disaster week for Yorks, to a potential disaster week for Warks.
