Well done Gloucestershire on getting your first win of the season and hopefully saving Somerset from relegation!

 

England 199 - 5 IC. Liam plays.

 

Incredible batting from Tom Abell, 112 no in just 93 balls, to go with his 111 in the first innings. Tom Lammonby on 101 no, Somerset 277-1 at stumps, a lead of 401. We’ll certainly declare overnight, and go for the win tomorrow.

 

Ah well Saints will get into Europe and win something there perhaps? Always look on the bright side!!

 

That Kent match was so Saints Villaesq. I’m still in total shock at the 57ao capitulation

Glad you put Tom Abell in, I would give a shout for Lewis Gregory too.

 

BBC only gave me certain options. Fuller wasn't one which I would have considered as well.

If I could sign any three domestic cricketers for Hampshire, Abell would absolutely be one of them.

Brilliant player (and aside from maybe the odd game for the Lions, won't miss games due to international duty).

 

Harry Brook would have been another, except now he'll miss a lot of the domestic seasons going forward now through international duty and franchise T20 tournaments.

 

Good to see Woody back.

Granted, it sadly probably won't be long until he gets his next injury (same for Topley). But hopefully that will be after the world cup.

England won by 63 runs. Liam one over 0 - 7 and a dropped catch.

 

Dawson the unlikely hero for England! What a knock this is from him.

 

Shame Liam couldn't be there at the end but 34 off 17 balls has turned the game on its head.
