Ajeet Dale leaves Hampshire and signs for Gloucs. Not a big surprise as he wasn't featuring in the 1st team squad at all this year. I assume that Stevenson will also be released, unless he's somehow still got a contract for 2022 already?

Northeast signs for Glamorgan on a 3 year deal. Obviously a big coup for them, will strengthen their middle order. But how long will it be before we hear reports that he's had a falling out with them, give it 1 season?!

Fairly easy way for them to avoid a falling out. Don't pick weaker players ahead of him.

Bit of a downgrade for him though, joining Glamorgan. I'm be somewhat amazed if he's challenging for either the Championship or the t20, with them.
 
Stevenson and Brad Taylor leaving, as we assumed already really, especially in Brad's case. Perhaps this will free up enough budget for that extra top-order batsman for next year?!
 
I see that the Ashes squad will be announced in just under an hour. Presumably it will be a larger squad than usual (whether as one single squad, or an "official" squad with a small reserve pool attached), in which case some names from outside the usual guys could be included.
 
Or they could just go straight back to Crawley, Lawrence and Bess, despite all being dropped in recent times...
 
Liam Livingstone left the field with a finger injury during a T20 warm up game against India. Now, obviously I don't want one of our most destructive batsmen ruled out but if he was ruled out of the tournament Vince would surely get called up as he's one of the reserves.
