If you're picking an XI of best current county players to have not yet played international cricket, Higgins most likely gets in it. We can't really afford for him to hang around.
 
This is probably now our best chance of the day. Roughly 20 overs to get these last 4.
 
This is where Mason has to come to the party. It's the reason for picking him. Day four, tail to remove, a match to win.
 
Barker might have a bit of trouble getting back into the side. Wheal's done a good job in the 3 matches so far.
 
To a large degree, Gloucs have brought this on themselves. A total nothing run rate throughout the day from them has always left them exposed to a collapse with barely any lead to fall back on.
