Certainly not a decision which I expected. I wonder if the forecast played a part - today was meant to be the most overcast, and have the greatest threat of rain, of all four days. So maybe Notts thought that if the ball is going to do anything, it will be today.
W 110-7 CoP, 99 behind. Leach only came on for a couple of overs at the end, 2 maidens, 1 wicket. A good fight back by Somerset.
Dark Horses for the tournament - New Zealand!! Could be a WC doublé in both cricket and rugby, although, I feel on the rugby side of things they are not as good as in 2015.
Having said that, it is great that England are looking good with a terrific balance to the side. My only fear would be nerves hitting the side in the latter stages of the tournament as expectation levels grow.

If there wasn't a warm up match on Saturday they might have been made available.
I suppose there's a small chance they will be allowed to play.
Being a fifty over game and a final at lords what better preparation could you ask for 2 of your players going into a World Cup? Maybe I'm just clutching at straws.
