Big wicket but think it is too late now. Realistically, best case scenario we are chasing 350.

Shame we have been so sloppy in the field. Another drop from Anderson and Bairstow been poor too.
 
I'd understand if Foakes wasn't up to anything with the bat but he has been socring well recently. Bairstow cost us a few in the first test as well.
I’m sure, in a strange way, that if Bairstow hadn’t broken his leg he would have been dropped well before this Ashes series, and Foakes would be firmly in place.
 
This is a serious reality check for Stokes and England. They were arrogant enough to not change their approach throughout the 9 days of cricket and they've been taken down by Australia. And now The Ashes are virtually out of reach. Everything about the last few weeks with England has smacked of arrogance. Expecting Moeen Ali to play a pivotal role despite not playing first class cricket for 2 years. Trying to hit every short ball for 6. Australia lost both tosses, lost Lyon to injury in this match and they're still going to 2-0 up. Quite frankly England have got what they deserved.
