Fair play to them. That Glamorgan declaration has taken me slightly by surprised. Bold, but risky.
I'm putting a message here to bump this thread, as for some reason it's vanished from my visible threads. Is there a 'Do not show this thread' option, that I've accidentally activated?
Just checked, he's got TSS on ignore, if that helps.Usually the reason is that the thread creator has been put onto ignore. That results in the thread ceasing to visible, unless you click on 'show ignored content' in the bottom right. But in this case I assume you haven't recently put TSS on ignore, because he hasn't posted for six years!
Have you maybe put a filter on accidentally?
I DM'd him that might be the case. Thanks!Just checked, he's got TSS on ignore, if that helps.
Thanks for checking things, brb. I did have TSS on ignore, but I've got no idea how it happened. Anyway, I'll check to see if I can access the (Saints) Cricket Thread. Thanks again!Usually the reason is that the thread creator has been put onto ignore. That results in the thread ceasing to visible, unless you click on 'show ignored content' in the bottom right. Yes, and the fact that he's still busy fielding for the 2nd XI suggests that he's not even travelling to Leeds. Meanwhile, we have an 'opener' who averages 24 and has only passed 50 a total of 15 times in 106 first class innings...Orr made 84 and 167 and Middleton 100 for the 2nd XI this week. And yet it sounds like Weatherley will keep his place in the team. I just don't understand.
I honestly think Weatherley should go full Bazball rather than just hang around for a miserable 5 off 30 balls. At least if he gets 25-30 off 30 balls we'll have got off to a reasonable start.Yes, and the fact that he's still busy fielding for the 2nd XI suggests that he's not even travelling to Leeds. By comparison, Orr averages 35 and has passed 50 a total of 13 times in only 68 first class innings.
150? who is going to contribute more than the usual 10 runs before being dismissed?Same team and lost the toss, so get the first chance to put our customary ~150 on the board before bowling in the evening session.

Because the way these things work, Weatherley is always out first. Not sure how Gubbins wasn't given out lbw there. Looked plumb to me.
