We seem to attract rival fans that camp on our board and spout rubbish about our managers and players however suggesting Redknapp didn't a clue on how to get the best out of Bale is laughable.

Bale is progressing as a player each yeah and redknapp has overseen that progression from his outstanding performances at left back to then switching Bale to left wing in which he was outstanding.

Towards the end of last season, Redknapp introduced 4231 and asked Bale to roam ,he is the manager that made it clear to see the best of Bale he will move to a central position.

Also its only recently Bale has been putting in MOTM peformances, its taken a while for him to have the confidence to roam and even then he isn't perfect and aside from his beautiful free kicks agaisnt Lyon, he was average.

Redknapp seems to be an easy target for every fan to attack but he was superb for us and was highly important in allowing Bale to become the player he is.

I think there's a line between banter and outright wummery, it just seems that some people's threshold for getting their knickers in a twist is pretty low. It does make me laugh though to hear people saying that I'm the one getting wound up, then accusing me of winding them up.

So anyway, back on Topic. Far from being wound up by Bale, I've been enjoying seeing some of his play, he is a truly exceptional player. I just happen to think that his good form and massive profile makes him even more of a target for a big club this summer, that's not wumming, that's just a simple observation

It's also extremely obvious and probably doesn't need to be repeated endlessly.
Players that play well consistently will be targeted for transfers. Those that do so in an eye-catching fashion will attract more attention.
I don't think that there's anyone on this forum that's not aware of that.

If Wilshere plays well consistently, for example, then I'm sure that a club like Man City, who have money and are lacking in his position, will be interested in signing him.
Do I feel the need to repeatedly state this on the Arsenal board? Of course not.

Do you know why I am on the Arsenal board PISKIE? Because of the amount of time you spend on the Spurs board on the wind up. I had hardly been over there but when I finally did arrive the low level of comments was too much to resist. I'm not surprised you visit us so often it must be difficult to get a decent debate going on your board. You have even started to make some decent comments, good work.
