The offer was from Chelsea, and Levy had already stated he would not sell Modric to them,if he went it would be abroad,Levy kept his word, and modric went abroad,so where was he trying to get more money for him?
On the subject of crap: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/186611-Where-will-Arsenal-fan-Bale-go Seventeen pages of barrel-scraping desperation.
Not only have you repeated this lie endlessly and been corrected on it, but you've utterly failed to address those that have pointed out your dishonesty. £30m + a player that was sold for £4.2m ≠ £40m, no matter how many times you desperately try to claim that it does. Would you have preferred to have sold van Persie for £1m less so that he wasn't lining up for Man Utd every week? I'm sure that we all know the answer to that.
Phil Thompson bleating on on SSN "I hope Bale goes to Bayern Munich for £50m, because then maybe they won't be able to afford Suarez" , and . The old boys punditry club excelling once again.

A lot the Bale to Madrid stuff will be crap, but Madrid are the type of mega club that Bale deserves to play for. Hopefully, we'll keep him for a while yet, but until we get owners prepared to back the club in a way that ENIC refuse to, we'll always lose our superstars eventually. But if we get £60/70m for Bale which his current value, then ENIC can carry on trading, we'll carry on doing very well, but not winning the 'Big 2' and that's our lot. That's good, very good, but not great.
The way things are if he is to go then we must have a player as well as cash and we all know we need a striker. I don't know who Bayern have spare though. We can't carry on with these one and two goal matches and the strikers we have are no good. Let's get rid of Defoe and Ade at the end of the season.
Imagine Bale suggesting he's an Arsenal supporter! Only idiot's support Arsenal. Okay idiot's....hands up!
Wow! I'm away from the board for about 12 hours and all hell breaks loose! I actually do believe PESKIE, now, when he says that he'd want me back on the Gooner board. I think he now accepts that it was a massive mistake of his, banning me in the first place. I think he was, initially, wound up by my more incisively witty comments, because he lacks the superior intellect to be able to make any decent reply, but I think he now understands that it was all banter. In my last days on that board, despite my logical, polite, and often heart-felt arguments, I had to suffer some of the most appalling personal abuse from the thicker gooners, over there. PESKIE didn't defend me, of course; he didn't have the courage to do that, but a few honest and decent gooners did, and they were made to suffer for it. None of them post on the gooner board, these days - they have gone elsewhere to discuss their football, and PESKIE is left mainly with the thicker gooners. I'm sure there are a couple of half-decent ones (or ones that sometimes manage to read their copy of The Sun without looking at the pictures), but they tend not to post that often. I think PESKIE, in maintaining my gooner-ban, is actually doing the thicker gooners a real favour, because I think he knows it would be all too easy for me on his board, at the moment. I'd cause carnage. It's bad enough that they face finishing, not only behind us this season, but outside the CL places, and what with Whinger beginning to lose the plot at his press conferences, the last thing that the average NA606 gooner would want is for me to have free-reign on their board. It wouldn't be a fair fight. Those gooners simply do not have the balls or the sense-of-humour that the Chelsea boys do, or the moral strength to admit me back on to their board. I've accepted that; indeed, I wear it as a badge of honour, as I have said once, before. So, lads, I don't blame PESKIE, not in the slightest. Although he may appear crass and oftentimes doltish on our board, I actually think there is a decent bloke hidden away deep inside him, struggling to get out. It's just that he finds it difficult to express himself on an emotional level. He might not love me as much as Ozzie (on the Chelsea board) does, but one can certainly tell that he has an immense degree of respect for me. I have to admire him, for that.
If Bayern are interested as a few medial outlets have mentioned, then we would need to be getting a player exchange out of them. Bale is one of the most sought after footballers in europe at the moment. he's tied to a long term deal, and the beauty of this saga is that we are in control, especially with other big clubs being interested. Bale's skill sets will be bloody hard to replace (probably not replaceable to be honest), so to soften the blow we would have to negotiate the likes of Thomas Muller or Mario Gomez (for example) into a deal like that. Neither of those two are worth £50 mill, (and supposedly Bale is) but that's the standard we've got to be bringing in, as bale will be such a huge loss.
Trying to work out the logic of this report...which is futile in itself, as it;s from Sky Sports Naturally, the first response to this comment wasn't "What the **** has it got to do with you?"
Reina was basically complimenting Bale. Don't have a problem with that. It's not like he's trying to help orchestrate a move, like he did with Fabregas and Barcelona. Not very classy.
