MSP430

The MSP430 is a 16-bit, ultra-low power, mixed signal microcontroller from Texas Instruments. The strengths of the MSP430 lie in its easy-to-learn, C-compiler friendly, 16-bit CPU partnered with flexible low power modes and intelligent, low-power peripherals. As a catalog market product, its versatility is applied across a number of different end-equipments including medical equipment, electricity and sub-metering, and home appliances such as smoke detectors, thermostats, etc... With over 230 parts available, there is likely to be an MSP430 for almost any application.

Year 437 (CDXXXVII) was a common year starting on Friday of the Julian calendar. At the time, it was known as the Year of the Consulship of Aetius and Sigisvultus (or, less frequently, year 1190 Ab urbe condita). The denomination 437 for this year has been used since the early medieval period, when the Anno Domini calendar era became the prevalent method in Europe for naming years.

Apollo 440 (alternately known as Apollo Four Forty or @440) are an English band formed in Liverpool in 1990.[1] Apollo 440 have written, recorded and produced five albums, collaborated with and produced other artists, remixed as Apollo 440 and as ambient cinematic alter-ego Stealth Sonic Orchestra, and created music for film, television, advertisements and multimedia. During their eleven years at Sony, 1993–2004, they notched up 11 Top 40 UK singles with three Top 10s, and had a chart presence worldwide.
The name comes from the Greek god Apollo and the frequency of concert pitch — the A note at 440 Hz, often denoted as "A440", and the Sequential Circuits sampler/sequencer, the Studio 440. They changed the writing of their name from Apollo 440 to Apollo Four Forty in 1996, though they switched back for their latest album.
To date Apollo's remixes number around 60 - from U2 in the early 1990s to Puff Daddy/Jimmy Page and Ennio Morricone a decade later. Apollo's version of Puretone's "Addicted To Bass" was made a lead track and became a hit in 2002. Among their Stealth Sonic Orchestra remixes are a series of Manic Street Preachers singles.

The year 443 was a period of civil war and famine in Britain, caused by rival kingdoms and Pictish invasions; the situation aggravates by tensions between Pelagian and Roman factions.

Air France Flight 447 (abbreviated AF447) was a scheduled commercial flight from Galeão International Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris, France. On 1 June 2009, the Airbus A330-203 airliner serving the flight crashed into the Atlantic Ocean, killing all 216 passengers and 12 aircrew.[2] The accident was the deadliest in the history of Air France.[3][4] It was also the Airbus A330's second and deadliest fatal accident, and its first while in commercial passenger service.[citation needed]
Initial investigation was hampered because authorities were unable to locate the wreckage; it was located nearly two years after the accident, and the aircraft's black boxes were finally recovered from the ocean floor in May 2011.[1][5] The final report, released at a news conference on 5 July 2012,[6][7] stated that the aircraft crashed after temporary inconsistencies between the airspeed measurements—likely due to the aircraft's pitot tubes being obstructed by ice crystals—caused the autopilot to disconnect, after which the crew reacted incorrectly and ultimately led the aircraft to an aerodynamic stall from which they did not recover.[6][8][9]

The Sonata for Two Pianos in D major, K. 448 is a piano work composed in 1781 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, at 25 years of age. It is written in strict sonata-allegro form, with three movements. The sonata was composed for a performance he would give with fellow pianist Josephine von Aurnhammer.

In the year 449, Vortigern, king of the Britons, forms an alliance with Hengist and Horsa, by tradition chieftains of the Jutes, who led the Anglo-Saxon invasion of Britain. He begins an conquest that is facilitated by an epidemic plague and weakens the country.
