The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be the 21st FIFA World Cup, an international men's football tournament, that is scheduled to take place between 14 June and 15 July 2018 in Russia. This will be the first World Cup held in the area of the former Soviet Union.

The 2019 Rugby World Cup will be the ninth Rugby World Cup. At a special meeting of the sport's governing body, the International Rugby Board (IRB; known as World Rugby from November 2014), held in Dublin on 28 July 2009, Japan was announced as the host for the competition. This will be the first time the tournament is to be held in Asia, and also the first time that the event will be hosted by a nation outside the traditional top tier of the sport. Hong Kong and Singapore had expressed interest in hosting some of the matches and were included as part of the JRFU's successful original hosting bid to the IRB but were not amongst the fourteen locations announced by organisers Japan 2019 on the 5th November 2014 that had formally bid for the right to host games.

Afternoon anti <ok> Flippin' cold yet again, but at least yesterday's snow fall didn't settle. I reckon the Japanese team in the 2019 Rugby World Cup will be full of Sumo wrestlers ! Sheer bulk, but no pace. Wonder if they will wear their nappies ?! Bet it is still nice and warm where you are, lucky devil. Have a good day.

Assuming we're all still here in 2020, the world will more than likely look very different. Everything from technology to climate, to everyday items have the potential to morph into something new or even completely disappear.

Greetings Woopert - cloudy morning with a temp of 25 forecast which is surprisingly cool for February. What is this snow you talk of ? Leatherhead had a four inch carpet of it according to my sister who has just been told she has to have a total knee replacement in April - been there done that wrote the book - hope your still walking - I'm off to take my dad shopping and tomorrow off to the country for a funeral - memo to self get tips in before leaving - cheers ATB

Evening anti - hope the funeral went o.k. Extremely cold again today. Brass monkey weather. Not much walking at the moment, only the five minute uphill trek after work every evening, to where my car is parked. That keeps me fit. <ok>

The SC-2024 will transform any room into a true home cinema, with up to 190 watts output per channel. Its specially designed chassis is equipped with a trans-stabilizer to reduce noise and to ensure high quality audio. It also houses a powerful Class D (digital) amplifier, which guarantees maximum performance and minimum energy loss.

Greetings Woopert - back from the country after the funeral a very warm Sunday with temp around 37 so aircon working from go to whoa. Going out for some grub with my dad tonight the Terrigal Thai I think will be the venue with Prawns Penang for moi - when the weather warms up I'm sure you will be striding purposely along the prom working off your winter coat - av a good week ATB

The Liberal Democrats are pledging to eliminate child illiteracy in England by 2025 if they remain in power after May's general election.
Leader Nick Clegg will unveil a manifesto commitment, with extra money for poorer pre-school children.
The party has already said it would protect the education budget.
Labour says the Lib Dems have broken promises as part of the coalition, and compromised education standards by allowing unqualified teachers.
Mr Clegg said the coalition had cut illiteracy but said it was a "national scandal" that more than a fifth of 11-year-olds leave primary school without reaching what is regarded as the basic level in reading.
He said the Liberal Democrat manifesto would contain a pledge to eliminate child illiteracy in 10 years.

Evening anti - I witnessed a rare miracle yesterday. Yup, a Pompey win <ok> Drinks all round ! Today, we hit 9 degrees centigrade, a very pleasant day. What with England fighting back to beat the Welsh rugby team in the Six Nations, not a bad weekend. Back to work tomorrow Grrr

About 5000 of Australia’s highest earners fall within postcode 2028, which takes in Edgecliff, Rushcutters Bay, Darling Point and Point Piper in Sydney. Here, the average taxable income was $210,733.
The poorest postcode in the nation (3833) is in eastern Victoria, taking in the areas of Ada, Baw Baw, Baw Baw Village, Gentle Annie, Icy Creek, Loch Valley, Noojee, Piedmont, Tanjil, Brem, Toorongo and Vesper. Here the average taxable income reported was $39,220, but only 90 people reported this income.

Greetings Woopert - some gentle precipitation to start the week - grub last night was enjoyable soft shell crab to start then prawns penang then a green fish curry with special fried rice with king prawns - hope you took advantage of your 9 degree day and went for a brisk walk - my swimming is going to down the beach as swimming carnivals are at the pool till mid March - off to the Hunter Valley to see Sting and Paul Simon in concert together on Saturday - those suburb names are quite colourful although "Gentle Annie' sounds rather encouraging - ATB

Sydney 2030 came to life after we asked residents, visitors, workers and businesses what kind of city they wanted. People told us they wanted a city that cares about the environment, has a strong economy, supports the arts and that connects its people to each other and the rest of the world. Sydney 2030 is now the cornerstone of everything we do.

Evenin' Woopert - a draw for your boys at least its a point - Tranmere got a point at Newport and Hartlepool just wont go away - Liverpool did us a favour halting Spuds climb up the table - fine sunny morning after heavy rain during the night trouble is I can hear the lawn growing - pruning today and mowing tomorrow plus back in the pool although at 7am is a bit of an ask - ATB

2031 is created by 2nd and 3rd year students, studying Special Effects for Television and Film at the University of Bolton.
The group consists of students from both sides of the course, Visual Effects and Special Effects.
The 6 2nd year students have come together to create this campaign to showcase their skills.

Hi anti - dry again today, but still a bit chilly. A point and a clean sheet is o.k., but we do need to beat Exeter at home next Saturday to maintain momentum. Enjoy your swim, and no eyeing up the crumpet on the beach...<whistle>

In the spirit of great utopian writing that dares to hope for a better world, Imagining America in 2033 takes place in a fictional yet achievable future America—a time when progressive, liberal ideals inform politics and citizens alike.

Greetings Woopert - fine sunny day and two points lost are we starting to wobble? Back from the pool didn't quite get the water to a foam but had a good go. Off to the club to talk to the lady golfers about a name change - why do people get so thingy about change - sang choy bow for grub tonight and if this humidity keeps up a keg or two of amber fluid to get by - ATB

Metro 2034 (Russian: Метро 2034) is a novel written by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky and is a sequel to the novel Metro 2033 by Glukhovsky.

Evening anti - dry here again, chilly still, so can't wait for Spring to arrive. Youngest daughter came round this evening, so had a pleasant time catching up with news. Saints still 4th in table, so doing well. Nice glass (or two) of Yellow Tail red wine, very nice. Soon relieved of all the cares in the world. Have a good day <ok>
