Of course. I get ya though, he was a hell of a horse but they all are in that list and I just formed a quick opinion to answer the OP's thread.
How would you price them?
His battles with Kalanisi are the stuff of legend, the Iron Horse never knew when he was beaten. He'd never been an outsider in any Flat race imo, but like I allude to, I know nowt about a few there
Giants Causeway 25s, outsider of the field STH?!!! I suggest you check out the races this guy won, try Wikipedia![]()

Which was the more impressive?
MILL REEF

By a nose each time though. To be fair to him though, he did have a greater will to win than any horse I've seen![]()
Brigadier Gerrard (essentially a miler) beat Mill Reef (essentially a 12f horse) 3l over 8f in May. That does not make BG superior. Had they raced over 12f I would expect Mill Reef to have comprehensibly reversed that form. Therefore over 10f it most likely could have gone either way. I think my money would have been on Mill Reef as he would have pulled away from some way out and I doubt BG would have got to him.

Who was the top miler in Europe in 1972?

Secretariat burst onto the scene across the Atlantic in '72 as well. Not a bad year was it.
