Thinking on DBT...I'm sure I might have spoken to Ted Key at a gig in about 2020. I was promoting some of my books at a music charity event for a former work colleague whose son passed away from a rare heart problem. Ted was compere for the afternoon session. Burnsey did the evening slot. Ted did a short set. He was great.

I went to my grandson's nativity play this morning and the story had been slightly updated. The reason there was no room at the inn, was that Guns N' Moses were playing Bethlehem Stadium and though Joseph was happy to stay in the stable, Mary wasn't keen, as she'd seen it only had one star on Trip Advisor.

Guns N' Moses actually made an appearance at the end, singing their classic ho, ho, ho, ho Sweet Christmas Time.

I’m using 2 days of annual leave from work this week to go to my daughters school to make Xmas crafts and then to sing carols round the Xmas tree … my wife works in a school so can’t get to this stuff . I make out I’m doing it under duress , and my dad would never have to do this; etc …the truth is, I love it , the carols is one of my favourite days of the year and will be devastated when they both leave primary school …
