Went to Brigg today,, Santa couldn’t even be arsed to put on a fake beard and was about 10 stone wet through …looked more like Jasper Carrott… kids still fell for it though, bit worried about them to be fair ..

**** that, we've visited Brigg garden centre three times this year. I leave Mrs Two there, and then go in the town for my dinner and return for her when she's finished. :emoticon-0138-think

Just a note, my Hive app on my phone keeps cutting out. According to the man from KCOM who lives a few doors away, its happening everywhere as Christmas lights apparently cause interference to routers... !!!

There was a question on The Chase the other day......"Who replaced Ted Key in the Housemartins?"
I don't mind admitting to you, that I was gob-smacked. I never knew Ted Key was in the Housemartins...I always thought Ted supplied the meat....
    Answer was Norman Cook.

We usually enjoy it, this Santa today proper pissed me off though, not only did he not look like him.. he just whispered and had no charisma , games gone . Can’t even find jolly fat blokes with beards these days .

Give it a few days and according to some it'll be the chips in the Covid jabs. :emoticon-0138-think

Ted is still playing round Hull
(The musician one, not the ‘selling lumps of dead flesh’ one)
I played bass, with him on guitar, at a party not that long ago
Was great with the Gargoyles back in the day

There's a Ted Key butcher stall in Branny Cenner, oh and dead flesh or live flesh, shove it in the pan with a slurp of gravy. :emoticon-0114-dull:

Thinking on DBT...I'm sure I might have spoken to Ted Key at a gig in about 2020. I was promoting some of my books at a music charity event for a former work colleague whose son passed away from a rare heart problem. Ted was compere for the afternoon session. Burnsey did the evening slot. Ted did a short set. He was great.
