Things on sticks, like marshmallows? Toasting them on an open fire at band camp?

You have obviously left them by the fire for too long and have slipped off the stick?(In my household we used to use large brass forks)

We had one of those "toasting forks" but it wasn't that great for making toast, the toaster on the other hand...

That was a nice gesture, though I hope it doesn't constitute your Christmas bonus...

Just picked up a bottle of Clementine and Cranberry bucks fizz for Xmas morning. If that's not crafty as **** then I don't know what is!

Nope, there's also a christmas dinner. Today I finally after a week on tenderhooks got an answer to my question "what is the halal option?". Chicken apparently. They also told me the vegan and veggie options which are "Roasted vegetable tagine" and "Roasted vegetable tart" respectively. I selected "Turkey" and popped my completed form into the HR pigeonhole. Was hoping the halal option would be barbecue goat or something like that.

Did anyone get a Celebrations advent calendar? Apparently many people are throwing wobblers because they got a Bounty two days on the trot. Some are claiming that Christmas has been ruined. Others are contemplating suicide, I kid you not.

If any of you are affected by this situation, please get in touch. I'm here to help you through the darkness.

Excellent marketing campaign by the makers of Celebrations. They got all sorts of flak last year for having Bounty as the first advent chocolate (meant to be the worst one apparently) so they upped the stakes and deliberately put Bounty in day one and two.

And the result? Twitter is over-run with people talking about Celebrations. All that free advertising, winner winner Turkey dinner!
