Hard day but so far so good. The highlight was when he had to put on the paper pants and the lovely nurse tucked him in.

They'e repaired his valve and I'm over the moon with that; better than expected.

It is, mate. He had a good night and will make a full recovery once they have beaten the Sepsis that caused this - they now believe it started with an everyday sore throat.

I would urge everyone to become familiar with the symptoms of sepsis as it doesn’t take prisoners.

I’m now waiting for a baby to be born, thinking of changing my name to Joseph! <laugh>

Just did the Xmas booze shopping in Morrisons

Checkout woman rang it in and said ‘Wow, that’s the biggest shop I’ve ever rung through...I expected ticker tape and klaxons to go off!’ Cheeky bugger <cheers>

By the way the Old Speckled Hen is on a right deal. 2 boxes of 10 x 500ml bottles for £20 !!! That’s £1 a bottle for those who are mathematically challenged

Just having one now to check they’re not fakes...can’t decide yet so might need another
