Just been told the office is closing 2 hours early today!

Jackanory!

I'll be supping Staropramen by 5pm hopefully.

Been toiling at the screen of employment this morning, off to do the final shop with the wife (selfishly to ensure Fez's needs are met) after a couple of crumpets - then a touch of training at the bar of life with the local lads.

Missus got an all clear from her consultant, who needs a better prezzie? Over the bloody moon.

Slate clean on here, no grudges, no ****e.

Merry Christmas to everyone. <cheers>

Excellent news regarding Mrs Fez. The best presents we get are usually not found under the tree.

Enjoy your Christmas.

I knocked off last Friday
Really unusual for me, I'm normally working up until day before Christmas Eve.
Been nice to be off, although it's meant that I've got a lot more involved in Christmas related shopping than I usually do! (I'm normally just sent out hunting and gathering for booze and meat)

Just had a really nice beer with Guvnor66
...12% stout anyone ?!?!?!?!?!
Just Dennis that's strong :steam:<yikes>
Just gonna try the Bourbon bar in Paragon square soon:emoticon-0167-beer:

Rookie error.

They'll all have knocked off by 10am and you won't know.
Well apart from us using an IM service which shows who isn't at work...sure!

Had a comedy internet down all morning, Sky are sending me a new router, but luckily, it seems to be working again!

Sky are the worst internet service provider. Moved from BT earlier in the year as I thought they were bad, Sky have smashed it on the appalling service front.

Well, I have to disagree tbh.

They've sent out a new router, no arguing, after undertaking some tests. It would be here in 2 days, not their fault its Christmas. In the meantime, its working again.

I get great speeds, no noticeable packet loss, all in all, worth every penny.

Always had good results with their customer service too.

Well thats good news, you curmudgeonly old git.

Crumpets. I trust they were the large ones? Topping of choice? We have them most weekends, wife goes with peanut butter and honey, me, I stick with good old marmite.

A very Merry Christmas to all, it is the season of goodwill to all men (women and children) take note Allams!! I extend my best wishes to all except that irritant in Cincinatti.

To absent family and friends and Tickler who was annoying and amusing in equal measure I hope you're back posting soon or content wherever you are. Somebody somewhere on this forum must have known Tickler in real life?

Have a Merry Christmas All.

PS If I'm passing Kirkella Askew I'll chuck you a bag of sprouts <laugh>

It's not the equipment, which seems ok. The speeds and dropouts since switching from BT are painfull, which is what I don't understand as they are using the same cabling?
