All positive happy stuff please lads n ladies.
What you got planned? At home or going away for it? Meals out booked.?Works do's? Food you've got in, booze you've got in. A nice happy meandering thread...

Just had my first piece of Christmas cake, with a nice slice of mature Cheddar. Bloody lovely.

Our cake is nearly two months old, the wife will pour brandy (my good stuff :emoticon-0132-envy:) over it for the next couple of weeks before making marzipan and icing to cover it. As the song goes ...... Nobody Does It Better <ok>

Absolutely on here Askew. I have a bottle of lambs Navy Rum for my tea in winter. But cant say I'm a conner sewer of Rum. Think Omega Man likes his rum. Im sure others on here will have an idea.

I was going to say no religion, but of course religion doesn't come into it nowadays.

First Xmas for my daughter, so instead of traipsing around everyone else's gaff, this year it's the three of us staying at home.

They can come to us.

Our lass has just come home with the tree and as per it's way too big. Extra lights have been ordered for delivery tonight...

She's 24 you tight git.

Mrs gets busy over the next couple of weeks. In excess of 20 Christmas cakes to finish & 130, or so, Festive Cup Cakes, 18 Xmas Chocolate Cakes & a Lemon Xmas Cake to make, all for delivery before Xmas.

Me? On the piss in Manchester next week, Xmas do on the 16th. An all dayer over your way on the 18th & a date for a piss up in Marple to finalise.

Not thought about Xmas shopping or food & drink shopping yet. Think she's sorted the kids & nephews & nieces though, cos she's a good egg.

Best thing about having kids mate you dont have to go out to the outlaws. Its just getting rid of guests who have outstayed their welcome thats your problem now.

As a public service anyone buying a real tree, home Bargains on Anlaby Rd have 6 footers for 12 quid. Excellent price.

No religion, ta.

Only kidding. Off up to Scotland this year for Christmas, first one out of Yorkshire. Got a bottle of Greenalls, a bottle of Kraken and a ham hock the size of a small elephant. I know whose side I'm on.
