If we had the squad we currently have, where do you think we would have ended if this season, instead of playing in the Premiership, we were playing in the Championship?

I reckon the current squad is good enough for about 9th.

The squad is good enough for top 2. Far better quality than Sheff Utd.

But with our managers we would have struggled. Still playoffs though.

Suspect we're going to have a whole load of this nonsense for a while now.

Think Mowbray would be seriously considered if he does leave Sunderland

Our young players might actually benefit from an older coach. I don’t care what the style of play is as long as it is clearly defined to the players and effective.

He’s about as interesting as Gary Birtles.

He wouldn't be anywhere near my first choice, but I wouldn't be against Mowbray. There are many worse options out there that we're being linked with (but there are better options too).

Hopefully that includes breaking Ballard and Doyle into our first team.

If City go on to win the treble, it will be hilarious that they would probably have got the quadruple if they hadn't lost to us, under the management of Nathan Jones <laugh>

Carrick was caretaker manager for Man U as well, and has a better record than our Ruben in the Premier League. Lol

Fair play for keeping the faith. I think he's proven himself to be bloody useless to be honest and I'd sooner most of them pissed off so as not to encourage any of the others to stay. I can count on one hand the players I'd be inclined to keep.
