I agree there are keepers who could push him to start. But with a 4 year deal and a good season behind Marshall, I imagine we will just get a backup in on lower wages and focus on other areas.

 

its an expensive luxury to have 2 top keepers....

as for the conference guy i'm glad we dodged him to be honest, leicester can afford to waste £1-1.7m but we cant really....

 

I just hope that it's not left too late by the Malaysians to decide how much the manager is allowed to spend on new players.

I want to see a nice mixture of quality players both experience and promising. Definitely need a figurehead central midfield player in the mould of Barry Ferguson, a winger with the pace and final ball like Chris Burke plus a pair of strikers, one a big lump like Holt or Lambert and another fox in the box like Kevin Phillips.

 

Jay Rodriguez, Justin Hoyte, Lewis McGugan, Luke Chambers, Paul Pogba, Andy Johnson and that winger from BC Adhomah apart from him all apparently free this summer.
