He has.
How AJ could not agree a decent split with Wilder is ridiculous.
All these knobs making excuses for him "Well he doesnt need to...blah blah,....he could make more money fighting, blah blah".
These are the same people, mind, who complain about money killing top flight football
**** the money, he is rich enough, it should be about wanting to be the undisputed, unified heavyweight champion of the world.
What is that worth, money wise? A **** ton, plus even more importantly, its important for his legacy (ie he would actually have one).

If Fury beats Wilder I would imagine there’s probably another rematch clause in there.
Thats what could **** AJ up imo. He could easily go another year fighting nobodies, waiting for either of those two to fight him.
Should have lowered his demands first time round.

The yank casual audience won’t care one **** about that fight, Fury vs AJ. The payday is nowhere near as big.

Even if they get 80k in Wembley and Sky/BT sell 500k subscriptions, they’re still barely covering Joshua’s purse with those numbers. Add sponsorships etc and you might get them £12-15m each but the yanks were offering an £80m purse for that fight with Wilder.

The second highest earner in boxing history is Connor McGregor, Hearn has access to the biggest cash cow in many years and he can’t get near an Irish Muppet with a big mouth!

Warren will control what happens with AJ v Fury if Fury beats Wilder, there’s no two ways about it.

I do think though that 60/40 is more than a fair deal for Whyte. I like Dillian but his reputation is nowhere near AJ's.

I wish Dillian had taken it and gone for glory.

Its time for AJ to try and force one of the big fights just to seal his reputation and hold all belts.

I reckon Wilder's camp is playing hard ball and I reckon AJ should come out and say "I'll fight you 50/50 in Las Vegas" publically. Give them no excuses.

Wilder is the key to American audiences.

Having said that if Fury beats Wilder then that will increase his reputation over there at least to a degree - especially as its a second fight - and then possibly 3rd.

Shame there isn't a forth major contender.

Shame Whyte didn't take his chance with AJ. Tells me he doesn't believe he can win it and wants to maximise cash just in case things nose dive after that.

The offer on the table for Whyte was about £3m-£3.5m, which he refused as that’s what he got for Chisora. Joshua was then asked to fight Whyte for 6 and said no-deal. They’re both worth too much now for that fight to happen. That’s why Hearn need the yanks to get behind AJ, then he can consider meeting the numbers that he’s promised to deliver for The Zone.

For me it doesn't seem unreasonable for champion / belt holders to get a bigger share of the purse - they will have had to have beaten an incumbent to have gained them ... as much as I'd like to see AJ take on Tyson Fury, any talk of a 50:50 split purse seems a bit daft - AJ has far more to lose - same goes for a fight with Wilder - if these guys are so desperate to fight AJ, do it at 60:40 and then demand the same in future fights if you have beaten him and won the belts

Fury was also a unified champion.

He may be a big fish in a small pond over here, fighting jobbers and no-marks, but until he proves himself on the world stage against someone who is not an unknown or 10 years past his prime, he is going to have a hard time getting big fights, he needs a reality check.

The belts might not mean anything to you ... but for most people, I would humbly submit that it suggests that AJ is currently the paramount heavy-weight fighter in the world ...

You obviously don't like or rate the lad ... but you are letting your personal bias get in the way of the facts ... even my missus knows who he is ... admittedly more because he has been on the Graham Norton show a couple of time (with Greg Davis both times)... but your claim that he won't be remembered is bollox ...
