It's not just Boxing that's becoming a joke, Roger Federer and Serena Williams are playing each other soon ffs. I bet Serena wins
Yep... tbf the last time 2 opposite sexes played each other the female won. Billy Jean King beat Bobby Riggs in straight sets
Calm down lads - is only a mixed doubles match https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2018/dec/31/roger-federer-serena-williams-match-hopman-cup Anyway **** the tennis, lets get back on topic - talking about boxing on a football forum. What was your fight of the year? For me it was actually Fury vs Wilder - whatever you can say about the decision, it was a fight that made me more of a boxing fan.
I think AJ is more worried that the media and boxing fans are starting to turn on him over his schedule, he has no fear of getting in a ring with Whyte. It's completely unjustified considering Fury and Wilder have been around longer and have completely padded records, yet it is all on AJ to get in the ring with them ASAP. Whyte deserves his shot at a world title, but it should have been Wilder... at any point in the last 2 years. Wilder has ducked him hoping for the AJ payday. I think Whyte would have a shot against Wilder, but there is no way at all he beats AJ. None.
Whyte has improved a lot but so has AJ - don't think his tactic of blocking jabs with his face would work against him... Whyte is the mandatory challenger for the WBC belt that Wilder holds so he has nothing to lose by going after AJ. I'm not 100% sure if he is the mandatory WBO challenger but if he isn't then he will be ordered to face Jarrell Miller to see who is. If Joshua can't get Whyte then he will be facing Pulev who is the IBF mandatory.
