    This is my 'fear'.
Everything you would expect them to do currently to preserve status, perhaps make us a viable proposition to sell, they don't do, or do the opposite.
They might have a figure in mind which they are prepared to get to as an 'acceptable loss', and then they will bail out.

If Allamhouse has borrowed to loan the club, then if they pull the plug they're still saddled with the debt.

Surely the only way the debt is written off is if Allam House goes as well?

I don't understand since return from lockdown how poor our attitude has been compared to every other team in the bottom third. Despite players knowing relegation is likely to have a life changing impact on their future.
    Sorry, falls on McCann again

That would d only make sense if Allamhouse can get a better bank interest rate, than the club could by going direct.

That would suggest there's more "assets" to go.... Dewijs, Leo, KLP...

Any asset value will not be shown, as the lower a player goes, the less he’s going to cost the buying club. Also they’ve not really shown anything in McCann’s team, so regardless of how good they may be in flashes, they’ve looked **** for longer.

there will be a figure at which the allams will be overjoyed in killing the club

im sure with all the tax benefits theyve had the current 40 million debt isnt the amount they will be happy with to be able to walk away heads held high (amongst themselves) knowing theyve done one on lil ol hull tigers

Ehab now claims that the interest goes to banks, not them, but when we met Assem, he told us he’d put his cash in, no bank borrowing.

Frankly, being banned should free them to really write what they think, rather than having to walk on eggshells whenever do an interview.

Those that have criticised Burney for his aggressive questions want to give their heads a wobble, someone has to try and get some answers.

You can't believe either of them, so either could be the case.

Fast forward to some time in 2021. Hull City bottom of league 1, about to slide into administration and the owners still insisting they are doing a good job!

Just to point out that the timing of money coming in for players sold has absolutely nothing to do with when they sell. They don't have to wait for future money to come in, they simply factor it into the selling price.
They might however believe there is good money still to be had from future sales, of such as JDW, LDS, KLP, JS, etc. They can forget that now!
They honestly believed they had devised a magic formula to be a successful entertaining Championship side, bringing in young cheap talent, including the manager & assistant, and selling players on for good money whilst still having the occasional challenge for promotion. Seriously. Backing such a naive, incompetent manager didn't help mindst. If it was a magic formula you would think dozens of clubs would already be doing it .... err ..... just like shortening the name

The formula they seem to have been banking on was to invest in lesser players with the potential to sell on and sustain the club. Unfortunately to do that (as Brentford have done for many many years) you have to have the people available to you that can spot that talent, an Andy Robertson or a Harry Maguire. They weren't luck, rather someone with football nouse who found them. McCant's he played for Doncaster he's good enough for me approach was never going to work.

No, he signed a 3 year contract in 2018, so should have 1 year left unless he has any relegation clause.

It would be interesting if anyone could find betting patterns for January on us getting relegated.
I found this from the start of the season, they seem to think we were dark horses for the play offs.
