Thanks.

I think we understood right from the start that our role is to go into the meetings with open minds. We know the issues that effect the supporters and we also know what the club needs to do to improve the situation. We do not have a set in stone series of objectives.

Our rep should say “I think” and not “We think” when asked a question or when giving an opinion as a supporter and the opposite way round when as an OSC rep. As long as it is an honest reply, I am happy with that. I don’t have to agree a stance with our rep as I trust her to be honest and true to herself as a Hull City supporter and a Director of the OSC.

It might not be prefect, but actually sometimes life is like that.
Cheers TOM
The club need to make sure they keep an eye on whether it’s a personal answer or the OSC’s or there’s a danger they wil quote the OSC as having a view that isn’t their position, but as you say life isn’t perfect
The upside of that approach is a OSC rep can still voice her opinion as a fan without undermining the OSC stance

Anyway get off here and get some bloody raffle tickets sold! ;)

I got an email to vote, why? I live overseas and the last time I had an interaction with the club was buying tickets on line for the Leicester game at the beginning of last season. I’m not part of their membership scheme, never have been, and haven’t been a season ticket holder since way back in the BP days, and I mean way back. I signed up several years ago for a newsletter or to buy some stuff on line or something. HTF does that qualify me to vote?

Summat amiss here methinks.

You are quite right about quoting, “I” and “We” are important, but our rep is more than capable of getting that part right.

As for the raffle, a couple in Nash first as I don’t get time for a sit down once I get in the Arena Bar.

They’ve even sent vote emails to people who’ve never attended a Hull City game, but have bought something from the Club shop, it’s a ****ing farce.

Contact Geoff at the Trust. Perhaps @PLT could help?

Grimsby (just general not specific season tickets)

I can understand clubs not wanting you to sell your ticket or if you have a child pass let an adult use it but really if you have paid for your seat who cares whose bum is on it.

We could have a minutes applause for you and reflect on the effort you had to put in to support your team.

When I go could someone bring in my dead body and throw it on the pitch at 19.04

I couldn't give a toss what happens when I 'go', and I'd like City to do the exactly same for me as they've done for countless 'better' supporters than myself, nowt!

The views expressed in my posts arte not necessarily mine.

The OSC hasn’t got a stance in this. Have a go at me if you like, but, the OSC, isn’t going to say anything about this issue. We have not discussed the vote and have no intention or interest as an organisation in the vote.
We acknowledge that we are too closely linked to the club to have full independence.
That said, we are fine with being consulted, but that is were it starts and stops.

Your post is naive.

Today, my focus will be on the raffle of a life size Tiger that the OSC is running for St Andrews hospice, a few pints and the game. I will be smiling when I see the match day mascots walk out, as we have helped one lad realise a dream, in very emotive circumstances.
Last week it was on promoting walking football and next week it will be on our next meet the player event.

Your post reminded me why I am involved in the OSC. I am proud of the work we do, the thanks we get, some of the emails saying thank you actually bring tears to my eyes. The Spurs supporter who wrote to us telling us about how Headway has changed his life and that the continued fundraising we do for the charity is been put to good use, not only for Ryan Mason but for others like him.
I am looking forward to the day when we completely fund a wheelchair for the Electric Eels football team the chosen fund for our new HCOSC golf society.

So knock that as much as you like.
The work for the hospice and getting the mascot on the pitch are probably just two of many things the OSC and yourself are rightly proud of, I recognise what a difficult position your group must be in as these things can't be achieved without co-operation from the club but to get that you are being used. I can't get my head around that this week your watching that little boy come on the pitch with a beaming smile and next week he'll have to pay Adult price to get in and you don't officially have any opinion on it but if you did then he wouldn't have been a mascot the week before. The trouble is top of the agenda for recent meetings is concessions and when your invited to the meeting it's as the OSC, you shouldn't go to a meeting as a representative of a body of people and give personal opinions, you shouldn't turn up to a battle if you don't want to get involved, but if you don't turn up the good causes are down the pan, but when you do he is consulting the OSC even if nothing is said. Who knows ?

On a lighter note: When does Ehab prefer to have his cock sucked ? TOM morrow.

I’m a season ticket holder.
So is a relative.

What emails?

I haven’t had one from the club in a year or so.
How come!?? His ballot is news to me.

I did vote in the original ballot...but maybe I voted the wrong way!

I like the first long paragraph.

The second cock sucking sentence is disappointing. It once again shows how the ALLAMS FAILURES OUT !!!!! have divided fans to the extent of that sort of personal abuse. Shame.

It's just a joke, I know he doesn't like the position he is in, I don't even think his real name is Tom

....AND voted 'No' in the name change ballot.
Similar here, I haven't received an email.
Eh up my old stalwarts who I miss dearly, a bit like my old club, old game et al zzzzzzzz...

Obviously rigged as you say - I received the e mail.

From memory(dodgy) ,chucked my season pass after one season in North (following the eviction) so why do I get a vote and you don't?You've already answered it.

Another reason not to go added to the list

Its Barbara.
And as you want to know Ehabs preferences I have to suppose that it’s you who wants to pleasure him. Well done you.

As for the longgggggg paragraph.

The constitution of the OSC states that we have to support Hull City, we have no choice as an organisation but to continue that support. In good times and in bad, the OSC will maintain its relationship with the club.

Your point about the cost of a child’s ticket misses the whole point of the rest of your post.

I can smile when I see a child mascot, that we as the OSC have facilitated alongside the club (and before anyone picks up on this yes the club, not Tigers Trust) and the reason is simple. I know that no matter what you think or choose to believe, the OSC will and has taken an active part in the consultation and none of our input has been tempered by our relationship, see my previous posts.

I have received an email. Never been a member or season ticket holder, but have bought away game tickets. Email invites me to vote but also requires a membership number to do so.
