There are areas your daughters wouldn’t feel safe walking around late at night in London and other big cities. Or on the underground or on buses.

Yeah, that's what I need, some bigger balls. Sod the old lady's who no longer go into town as they're scared of the filth walking the streets.
Sod the young girls who are at risk walking from a pub to the bus station or taxi rank.
Sod the kids at risk of their bike being nicked, phone being stolen or physically assaulted for the latest social media craze.
Just grow some balls the lot of ya.

Many a time in the 1980s had to walk home blind drunk from town all the way down bev road to nhe, sometimes two of us but often alone. Never had any bother, after living away for 20 years and meeting up with old mates in town many advised/insisted I got a taxi home as bev road is no longer a place to go walking drunk at night.
Anecdotal maybe but that seems to be a widely held opinion.
