Interesting.

So the Allams were not as attentive as they should have been when giving contracts to new players.

Those players were paid from monies received from the old Sky deal. Both transfer fees and wages. The new deal, that is, City receive about the same amount as the champions got the year before, may have inflated the fees that ended up in the coffers.

Players bought under the new deal would want a higher wage, the long standing players would then ask for the same. Not so sure they were inatentive, more being careful with money.

I'd go further and say they are incompetent at running a football club.

All the measures which supporters think were them just being vindictive, such as the away supporters initiative, the evictions from E1 to E3, the membership scheme were all aimed at cutting costs and maximising revenue. That they had the opposite effect only shows how little they know about running a football club.

They know the price of everything and the value of nothing. That also applies to players' contracts and the wage structure of the club.

First sentence pretty much says it all. They have proven to be totally incompetent. Ripped the club apart, and managed to get us tens of millions in debt inspite of the fortune received for 2 visits to the PL. Now leaving behind a sorry shell / shadow of a club. Gross incompetence mixed with extreme arrogance and stubborness. A deadly combination.

We had a freak season with injuries every year under Bruce, and he was always moaning about it.

I think comments from players who moved on are the biggest clue to why we were so ****, Steve Harpers in particular.
No we didn't.
There was an injuries league table. Nothing remarkable in it, we were just above halfway. But all of our challengers (without exception)were at the bottom (ie few injuries). Everyone above us had the squads to cope.
It seemed every time someone hit form, they'd be injured. Jelavic started the season brilliantly, got injured and was never the sme player. Key signing was snodgrass who played 10 minutes. Players in the same position were getting injured at the same time. We didn't have the squad to cope. And Brucie still got criticised for rotating in the Europa league (btw no one seems to have mentioned Burnleys story this season, that Dyche fella must be a **** manager)

Well that is just plain wrong seeing as we had to ship players out because they couldn't be registered!

It was a season like any other under Bruce injuries wise. Injuries are not the reason we got relegated.

Once again, comments from players give a real insight into where it all really went wrong.

I would say the fees we received for Maguire and Robertson were hardly a bloody fortune. The Allams insistence that we only offer fairly short contracts meant that Leicester and Liverpool got absolute bargains. especially as we had to sell.

The accounts show that we couldn't afford to sustain the wages we were paying, including the relegation clauses) without borrowing more money so we had to sell. To have kept Maquire, Robertson, Snodgrass, Clucas, etc we'd have had to borrow millions from the bank. The Premier League is achievable without breaking the bank as Burnley have shown. How long they'll stay there is another matter.
Avoiding my point. Bruce's profligate spending!! FFS he had the second lowest budget.
He then had to let go rosenoir and mcshane and gets slated for it by you a speedy I remember.
So you want them to pay the wages but it not appear on the accounts.
Great.

That last line is utter crap. And based on **** all.

They've put £40 million into the club
Had £13 million pound in intetest.
But say they are owed £63 million.
Pair of greedy bastards

Its my opinion and will soon be irrelevant because they will be gone by Christmas, according to Ehab.

I was wrong about McShane and Rosenior.

As always you need to read every word the allams say, he said gone by Christmas but didn't say which one. They only way they will be gone is when we're bust.

Some people say that under the Allams we've had our greatest ever seasons.

That's as bizarrely grotesque as saying with McShane in the team we 've had our greatest ever seasons.

It's 'despite' not 'because of' in both instances.

But true

It's your opinion and it's absolute bollocks.
We had the second lowest spend. FACT
The teams who spend the least usually get relegated. FACT
There are exceptions. FACT
But not many. FACT

When we beat Lesster, the reigning PL champions who had looked worthy winners, on the first day of the 2016/2017 season, it was one of our greatest ever wins.

We didn't even have a full subs bench- it truly was a memorable and glorious victory against all odds.

Despite the Allams, not because of them.

And your point is what.??
By the way i was there?? .
Not sure 100 % if I will ever go again.
There is so many better things to do now.
Football is a really poor substitute

Who did we ship out? What comments (because we always take as factual, any pissed off ex employees comments)
