Who did we ship out? What comments (because we always take as factual, any pissed off ex employees comments)

George Boyd was sold at the end of the window because he couldn't fit in the 25 man squad. Remember Steve Harper when he got drawn into our relegation when doing commentary for the BBC. He attributed our downfall to a complete lack of training in attack and only ever focussing on defending, and the team not playing as a team.

If you remember anything from that season, that doesn't sound far fetched at all. Our entire game plan was to give the ball to Elmo and Robbo who would launch the ball into the box from anywhere past the halfway line. The OPTA stats for that season didn't make good reading, a standout statistic was that we played less through balls (7) throughout the course of an entire season than any other team managed in a single match.

And of course using Tom Ince and Robbie Brady as lone strikers, pulling off any/all attacking players after taking a lead. Sticking with 5-3-2 despite having a squad packed with wingers and only one striker who was performing consistently, forcing players into unnatural positions and roles that did not suit their attributes.

Bad management and a complete inability to get the fantastic squad of individual players to play together as a team was why we got relegated. Yes there was some bad luck with injuries but every team has that and we definitely had the (full 25 man) squad to cope with it.

Go look it up yourself it's easy.
Bruce had the the second lowest wage bill.
All the players had a pay cut in the championship.
Bruce had to let go macca and rosenoir. Gets slated for it.
Bruce wanted to buy Andre gray. Ehab worried he spunks money like obi thinks. Well done there eh.

Anyone who thinks Bruce wasted money for hull city is an idiot or a ****. Charon is both.

Bruce let go Macca and Rosie coz the useless **** got us relegated having just spunked the seventh largest spend in the Premier League that season and the biggest spend in Hull City's history- he did worse after spending £40 million, plus having Ben Arfa and Gaston Ramirez than he did the previous season - he should have learnt his lesson the previous season ****ing about with his useless runt - but he didn't - first season in the Prem - 18 starts without Junior starting, won 7 - 20 starts with him starting won 3 - what does he do next season, puts Curtis and Macca on naughty step, farms out Maguire to Wigan, a team Junior can't even get a game for just so he can get Junior game time and an extended 2 year contract and no surprise when he gets us relegated

the only reason that he made any money from a few of his signings was because of the sea change in the tv money and the fact that Marco Silva started to play Maguire - when Brucie ****ed off because Ehab wouldn't let him sign Robson Kanu the value of Maguire, Robertson and Clucas was around 10 to 15 million in total - we only had Burnley sniffing around for Robbo at £5m and Boro after Maguire for £6m who was already ****ed off because Bruce kept picking Junior - we have Marco Silva to thank for their increase in value

you're a right saddo hanging onto some sychopantic love of Bruce x 2 and Meyler - Brucie is ****ing up Villa and is on the verge of being kicked out almost universally despised by their fans, Junior can hardly get to sit on the bench at Wigan and Meyler is struggling to get a game at Reading - I told you they were all ****e - I was right and you are totally deluded = FACT

Might have been 8th most spent, but net spend would have been relatively low as we sold Long for 12m and Boyd for 3.5m.

Even if we were, that is only a nod to very shrewd business. Everyone from our own fans to Steve Bruce and even the media were crowing about how well we'd recruited that season. "Hull City have won the transfer window".

Our recruitment and squad was very good, it was taking those players and building them into a team where it all fell apart. The cost of that is irrelevant.

So to summarize all of the above, we owe ducking shed loads of money, the SMC is being run down is not making money and Hull CC is not getting a divy. Ever decreasing crowds, money and icreasinin circular arguments on here. The Allamshit will be writing things of as a tax loss, laughing all the way to the bank and continue at the fans.

Classy.

That doesn’t make any sense, any money Hull City has belongs to Allamhouse, the only reason Hull City can function at all is Allamhouse’s £63m.

Allamhouse stopped funding Hull City after the second season in the Premier League. The SMC is losing money and needs funds from somewhere. For the past few years that money has come from the income of Hull City, Where it will come from when the TV money runs out is another question.

Hull City
Accounts of Hull City Tigers for the year to 30 June 2015

Ownership Owned by Assem Allam via his company, Allamhouse, registered in the UK

Turnover 19th highest in League £84m, same as 2014

Income No breakdown stated in accounts

Wage bill 19th highest in League £56m, up from £43m in 2014

Wages as proportion of turnover 67%

Profit before tax £12m, following £9m profit in 2014

Net debt £77m

Interest payable £2.7m

Highest-paid director Assem Allam’s company was paid £165,000 for his and son Ehab’s services

State they are in: An ultimately unhappy relegation season, with the romance of Hull having a Premier League club soured with the owner, Assem Allam, pursuing his Hull Tigers name change and ejecting community sports groups from the Airco Arena alongside the stadium. The name change was opposed by many fans, and relations have not wholly mended this season, despite City reaching the Championship play-off final. The accounts, as ever, show that Allam runs the finances responsibly, keeping wages manageable. Allam’s loans, which increased by £13m to £78m, charged 4% interest, stated to total £2.6m during the year.

I don't know what any of that has to do with the quoted post?

I can envisage them running Hull City down till it's bust, but getting most of the money owed back. Then walk away claiming the council still owe them millions for maintaining the stadium.

That old chestnut about Bruce going defensive when we had a lead. Yes, awful to watch, but effective. He had a fantastic record of holding on to leads.
It wasn't 'some bad luck' injuries. We had far far worse injuries than those in our mini league who survived. Yes we had a 25 man squad but as a recently promoted team, obviously not the strength in depth as others. As I said before, every time a player hit form, they seemed to be injured. Jelavic was the best example of that, he had his best spell for us at the start of that season, then was injured and never recovered. Also the injuries were to players in the same position. I recall one game, three centre backs were injured (Liverpool away???). We had both left backs and Rosenior all injured at the same time (maybe again in one game). Strikers injured together (probably why Brady/ Ince were playing there).
And of course had Leicester not had that freakish end to the season (who I recall had ridiculously few injuries that season), we would likely have survived.

Did he? That FA Cup final lead was pretty good, hey?

I said a good record, not that it never happened. I cant find any stats, but I'm sure it was his last season with us whereby we were the top of the league for holding onto 1-0 leads. That was likely to be in the championship, but certainly dispelled myths at the time.

We lost so many points that season from winning positions after pulling off all our attackers and inviting permanent pressure onto ourselves.

Bruce didn't perform as a manager, he couldn't build a team out of the players he had and good performances could be counted on one hand, end of.

I'd overlooked the directors payments bit.
On top of the interest, nice salary(ies) too.

As I've mentioned numerous times over the years, always overlooked.

They've done very well for themselves out of their ownership of Hull City.

There's probably still a management fee too. I seem to remmber they increased that to half a million after we got relegated from the PL and they admitted they would be less engaged with it.

That's the management fee Driff and includes accountancy and audit costs. Only Ehab receives a salary but that's from one of the other companies, maybe Allamhouse or Allam Marine. If Ehab's tweet mentioned on Facebook is about the sale my days of looking at the accounts of the Allam group are numbered. For those who haven't seen it he says "We're close".
