In football and in rugby, women players seem to get a lot more caps than men.I read Ms Fishlock has 150 odd caps. This presupposes Wales women have played that many games and probably quite a few more in what the past 15 or so years. I find that staggering when the most capped male footballer is Gareth Bale on 111.
I think they get into the teams at a younger age and go on longer. Not sure if they play more games per year than men.
Also, with the lack of depth in the women's game, players can dominate a position. Their clubs don't stop them playing either.
England's women's rugby have players on 141 and 137 caps. Top man, 127.
It appears that 43 women footballers have more than 200 caps.
