Shows how we've progressed as a national team. I now find myself disappointed with that result. Despite having so many missing, I still think we should have won that by more. We played well enough until it came to the final decisions where we seemed to panic.
Hey ho a win is a win.

Played really well in both home games and crazily not one goal from open play. Should have won more comfortably tonight but a lot more enjoyable watch compared to Page’s teams.

From where I was sat it looked a clear pen. You probably had a better range of views on the TV.

I can see why from certain angles it looked nailed on. From the live picture I thought so. However, on re-plays, there didn't seem much contact. If Wilson had left his leg in it would have looked more convincing, but by pulling out, ........

As I said, if it was given against us I'd have been mad as he'll.

1-0 to the ladies in their qualifier, 2-2 on aggregate. Going into extra time.

Second for Wales. Offside given then VAR turned it over.

Need to keep it tight for last 5 minutes plus added.

Great result and richly deserved. It could have been a lot more but it was enough.
Jess Fishlock is a class act.

    Da iawn ladies, da iawn....

    :emoticon-0137-clapp

    How good is Jess Fishlock?

When she hangs up her boots it'll be akin to the men losing Bale.

I read Ms Fishlock has 150 odd caps. This presupposes Wales women have played that many games and probably quite a few more in what the past 15 or so years. I find that staggering when the most capped male footballer is Gareth Bale on 111.

Not a Ryan Giggs in terms of not showing up but injuries and other reasons (Real Madrid's
management for instance) kept Bale's total down a bit.

111, that's an odd number, know as Nelson, for some reason, in cricket. Whenever it appeared on the score board, as 111 or multiples thereof, either as a team or batman's score, there was an old umpire, David Shepherd I think , who would stand on one leg, do a jig and turn a circle when umpiring at square leg, to ward off evil spirits.

He had some other odd habits - research him on Wikipedia.

And we think football can be strange....
