Would like a goal scoring midfielder, given that Romeu, Vic and Clasie aren't renowned for goals. Jay Rod, Pelle and Mane will chip in with the majority but someone from midfield who can relieve that burden at times would be good. Hopefully Clasie can improve his record.
Nah... Since when did we need a goal scoring midfielder? Seemed to have not bother reed with one in the last few seasons
Remember when we all pictured Vic weighing in with a few long range screamers, and headers from set pieces.

Yeah, absolutely. I was really excited he'd be banging in a few until my son told me he's not a goalscoring midfielder - I scoffed at that. One think Vic does have is an abundance of skill - he has a wonderful "roulette" turn. Anybody remember the skill he did at home to Arsenal last season? A fair few times I've caught my mouth hanging open in surprise when he seamlessly takes it past a man
Could this mean they are off chasing VVD or is this pre-emptive for Stone leaving for Chelsea?
Holgate will not go straight into the Everton team! He's 18 and only played League 1 football.
It was wonderful, although as big a fan of Vic's as I am, I am not 100% convinced that Vic knew what was happening at that point; not entirely anyway
I know this not strictly a transfer rumour but I see Garth Crooks is endearing himself to the Swansea fans, re Bafetombi Gomis in his team of the week slot!

1 of 2. I can also confirm that we have enquired about a LCM (3rd player)on loan, but our initial offer was turned down. Whether we'll go back in for the same player, or move on, I have have no news just yet.
