If Schneiderlin wants to go to a CL team, although I'd be disappointed, I have no problem, but if he goes to Spurs - a team offering the same football as us - I won't be happy.

I saw a similar article. Be pissed at him if he joins Spuds for anything other than Champions League football. I don't think we'd want the two they'd offer anyway. Levy can't afford the fee straight anyway.

I don't think they can afford him unless they sell some players so hopefully nobody will want their overpaid rejects.

Spurs supporting media obviously didn't listen to Les Reed and even if he was playing "the game" do they really think we would accept their rejects in place of a front line, international and proven EPL striker?
Really?

Premier League new boys Bournemouth are bracing themselves for a battle to hang on to one of their promotion heroes - with HALF of the top flight chasing star striker Callum Wilson.

Wanted man Wilson is a target for 10 clubs after bagging 23 goals for Eddie Howe's Cherries this season.

Long-term admirers West Ham are weighing up a summer move for Wilson - as revealed by Mirror Sport on Monday - and Tottenham have also had the 23 year-old watched regularly this season.

They have been joined in the hunt for Wilson by Southampton, Aston Villa, Swansea, Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Hull, Sunderland and QPR.

Bournemouth bought Wilson for £3m from Coventry last summer, handing him a four year contract until 2018, and it is likely to take around £12m to prise him away from Bournemouth.

£12m? Talk about over priced.

He needs to play regularly in The Premier League before anyone can truly judge how good he is. There have been many players who look world beaters at Championship level not then able to step up.

Besides, I'd really like Bournemouth to keep that side together just to see what they can achieve.

Been away a while, any firm rumours? I heard Clyne was off, but now may not be? And I thought Forster was out till September time rather than next year?

Bournemouth have the same choice as Burnley had with Inge (though Wilson has a couple of years left on his contract). Sell him for 15 mil and that money could add depth to the squad, or do not sell and hope he can score the goals that keep them up. Burnley probably wish they had sold Ings and had a bigger squad

I think Burnley probably wished Ings would sign a new contract. The penultimate year of the current one coincided with Burnley's rise to the top flight and Ings' rise in value that season. They valued the player's ability enough to think he may keep them up last summers transfer window; a question of £12m or making a fist of staying the top flight.

I see Flanagan (Liverpool) has had another op on his knee. He will be out for around 6-9 months.

Soon as any British player has one good season their price gets crazy.
In fairness Wilson has had more than one good season, he played extremely well for Coventry, albeit in league one. But we should know as well as any club that players are more than capable of stepping up from championship/league one
