That's great news and fingers crossed for him this year.
Just had a message from my son to say that he has received an email saying that Isaac has been selected for the County and details for the winter training sessions will be sent in due course.
To say how proud of him is an understatement, giving that he only took up cricket 2 years ago :emoticon-0152-heart
Cracking news mate, wishing him all the best. Hope he goes out and smashes it. Will keep an eye out on their results next season. :emoticon-0148-yes:

My lovely boy and his wife are taking me on holiday onext week how lucky am I ?
Train down to London on Friday can’t wait to see them both.

Aww that's class. Have a lovely time xx

That's my daughters dream! She starting a science degree as she wants to work in a drugs research lab and her boyfriend is going to study law as he wants to be a barrister. They've said when they both qualify and are earning money, they're taking me on holiday. Bless them!

Wonderful @becs doesn’t seem five minutes since you posted pics of her in pigtails on Wembley way. Time does actually fly

My Son starts Durham uni today to do a criminology degree, worked bloody hard for this and through covid as well.

he’s a very shy type so today is going to be a lot for him but he’s made his way to Durham by bus, done his induction and now getting his student ID. We are a very proud (and nervous) mam and dad.

My daughter (9) has had a bit of rough school year so far, they mixed classes up and she's been separated from most of her friends and she's struggled a bit to connect with the new kids. She's pretty resilient but I can tell it's been getting to her.

Anyway, today she got the G.O.A.T award by the teachers for being a model pupil and being nominated by her classmates for it, she's incredibly happy and proud about it and so are we. Given her a very timely confidence boost.

These things can make all the difference and good on the school for implementing it.

2 weeks in, not made any friends yet, but he’s settling in well. He even went to a formal dinner they have for freshers (which is massive for him).

He met up with his old school friends yesterday and they had their first ever day on the lash, bless them.

Grandad duties tonight.
This little fella is 6 months old now, and I still can't stop just sitting looking at him.
He's fed, and asleep....for now.

Not sure if it's age/stage but my two year old daughter Freyja seems to be turning into a truly terrible human being.

I can see her taking over a small island/nation somewhere as an undeomcratically "elected" tyrant and subjugating its population to a religion based upon the works of A.A Milne.

So that's nice.

Daughters nowt on granddaughters
